RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Mar. 10, 1997

Due to TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, the results of the Harlem Heat / Smoking Gunns match were not shown on the USA Network. The World Wrestling Federation would like to apologize for the mix-up.

Accidentally, a previous Lady Tyr vs. Shi match was shown.

At this time we will correct the mistake and show you the closing moments of the Harlem Heat vs. Smoking Gunns match...

 

There is a flicker of static... then the screen shows the Harlem Heat bashing the Gunns outside the ring. They heave in Bart and Stevie follows. Billy is left nearly unconcious outside the ring, trying to pull himself up.

Booker returns to his corner as Stevie drops repeated elbows on Bart Gunn. Stevie culminates his elbow drops with one final one from the TOP ROPE!

Stevie Ray flips Bart over in a Boston Crab, where he wastes no time submitting!

Jim Ross: Folks, the Heat looked as brutal as ever. They stormed the ring with ball bats and did numerous double team tactics during the match. The Gunns were no match for the Heat. During the contest, Brutus Beefcake and the Ultimate Warrior watched, but did not interfere.

Jim Ross: Fans, the Heat looks ready to take on the Road Warriors at WrestleMania. That will be a phenomenal match! We apologize once again for the confusion... that's what happens when our technicians stay up until 3 in the morning piecing the show together instead of getting sleep for work.
