THE NETWORK
The camera opens into the Network's meeting room where everyone is around the table. Wild Chylde is at the head of the table, but Sarah D. is standing...
Sarah: Okay guys... I've got the votes in... and I'm happy to say that it is totally unanymous... let's welcome our NEWEST members... Big Daddy Cool...DIESEL... THE SENSEI AND JADE!
Diesel, the Sensei and the part-Oriental woman that was seen with them before enter into the room. Diesel steps up.
Diesel: The WWF is a rough place, and it's hard to survive on your own, especially when you've got something everyone wants. Now tough as I am, I'm not stupid, and I know when to look for someone who can take the wheel when I'm not able to. And the Network has shown that time and time again, they're willing to go to the wall for their friends and allies, and that's what I've been looking for. So anyone who had ideas about trying to eliminate the Network, they'd better think again... because they're gonna have to deal with Big Daddy Cool now!
Wild Chylde: (shakes their hands) Welcome to the Network.
(Superstars Theme plays.)
BRIAN PILLMAN INTERVIEWS...
(Brian Pillman is in the interview area. He's wearing a Hart Foundation Sucks t-shirt.)
Pillman: Shut up citizens! For just a moment. I want to introduce to you a couple of guys that I don't really like. But they want to face a team that I downright HATE... AND ALSO my FAVORITE tag team. Come on out here... Jeff Jarrett... Vader... and Jim Cornette.
(Vader, Jarrett, and Cornette make thier way to the interview area.)
Pillman: Alright gentlemen. Welcome. Let's cut right to it.... we don't want to waste time like Jimmy Steele used to. The entire WORLD knows that the Harlem Heat are BORED with the tag team ranks. They've beaten EVERYBODY they've faced! Hands down! And at WrestleMania, they'll continue to do so. But James E., you seem to have made some kind of arrangement for Jarrett and Vader. What's the deal?
Cornette: That's right Brian Pillman. You see, I am not your ordinary reject from Japan who doesn't know anything about wrestling or managing, I am Jim Cornette. I was talking to Harlem Heat, and they simply expressed their thoughts about the tag team situation here in the WWF. Basically, they said that they would like some challenge. So, being the great manager that I am, I was quick to present a challenge to the Tag Champs for my team of VADER and Jeff Jarrett. They, in return, said that if my team could defeat the Hart Foundation....
(crowd cheers for Harts)
Cornette: ...SHUT UP!! Then they would get their title shot!
Pillman: Hey! I think that's fair! I mean... think of it this way... the Hitman has been ducking matches with Double J. And the Anvil is always hiding behind the fact that he's a TAG TEAM wrestler! I'd enjoy watching you smash up the Hart's a bit. But leave some for me and Stone Cold. Double J... what about the Hitman. He's NEVER gotten in the ring with you...
Jarrett: Brian, we all know that I've been asking for a shot at Bret Hart for MONTHS, and he's pulled out excuse after excuse each time as to why he couldn't face me. Well, no he has NO excuses! Bret, fly back home and get in as much time in the Dungeon as you can, cause I'm gonna give you a wrestling lesson! And when I'm done, I just might fly up to Calgary myself and teach ol' Stu a thing or two!
Pillman: Hahahaha! That WOULD be great. But I feel like I've been hanging around the Neidhart family and am a little drunk... because I'm a little lost. Just WHY the tag team titles? I mean, don't you guys want singles titles?
Jarrett: It's like I said before, I'm gonna be wearing WWF gold sometime soon. No matter what title it is. Harlem Heat threw this challenge up to us, and I'm more than happy to jump all over it.
Pillman: So this is just some kind of test. I mean... the nWo is finished. It's now Vader and Jarrett under Cornette. So this is some kind of test for cohesiveness?
Cornette: Call it what you will Brian Pillman, but the bottom line is that these two men are a team! We all remember what happened back at the Royal Rumble. Jeff is getting his brains beat in by the Undertaker, as well as others, and VADER comes out and risks his body to save him! VADER knew he had a World Title shot later in the night, but he went to help Jeff any way! If this isn't the most cohesive team in the WWF, I don't know what is.
Pillman: Well, I don't see you having any problem with the Hart Foundation. But the Harlem Heat is another matter. But think of this... what if the Road Warriors CHEAT at the scaffold match... and somehow win the titles. Do you think the Road Runners will honor the Heat's agreement... and give you guys a shot?
Jarrett: The LOD are honorable guys, and I think they'd give us the match. Besides, any team that can get a win over the Hart Foundation is deserving of a title shot, now matter how long they've been together.
Cornette: Besides Jeff, if the LOD don't honour our agreement, then I will immediately talk with the Piper, the championship board, Bam Bam, and anyone else I have to to get my team their deserved title shot. It doesn't matter who has the gold after Wrestlemania, because soon enough my team will have them....or my name isn't Jim Cornette!!
VADER: ARRRGGGG!!!! IT'S VADER and JEFF JARRETT TIME!!!! YEAH!!!
