FIRST ROUND: INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE TOURNAMENT
Sting
w/Woman, Elizabeth, the Enforcers and Eric Bischoff
vs.
the Human Phenomenon
w/Randy Savage & Bobby Heenan

The Match:
The Bad Guy, Razor Ramon is down at ringside. He is walking around the ring with a tootpick in his mouth. His hair is slicked back and he's wearing his leather vest. He has an extra toothpick behind his ear.

Sting is introduced. He comes out with all the Horsemen except for Flair. Bischoff stays close to Woman and Elizabeth. The Enforcers stand over near the time-keeper's table. Sting is dressed in his leather trench-coat, wearing Crow make-up.

THP is then introduced to a nice ovation! He comes down the aisle with the Macho Man and Heenan and rolls into the ring. Macho rolls in and has a mic thrown up to him. He speaks into it, pointing down at Jim Ross who is sitting near the announcers.

Savage: "JIM ROSS! Don't bother GETTING UP BROTHER! I read the newsletter! It seems like everytime I get ahead in this federation, I get beat down by the DAMNDEST PEOPLE! I thought JR was my friend but obviously not! NO! I'm going to have to defy the critics again and whip...FLAIRS...ASS!! PILLMAN SAYS 'IM A COWARD'! Jim Ross says 'IM TWO BRICKS SHORT OF A LOAD'! I never have and never will consider that trash Pillman a friend but when Jim Ross calls me CRAZY, well, I just don't get it! So Jimmy, this Monday on RAW, you and me old friend are going to have a one-on-one interviewing session and we're going to get this crap STRAIGHTENED OUT! Oh by the way Ric, I met an old gal last night in your stomping grounds of Panama City in a little bar called 'Pinepple Willie's' and well, we got to discussing some things. She told me the funniest thing I ever did here. It seems as though SPACE MOUNTAIN has been DOWN FOR QUITE SOME TIME! She told me it was more like MR TOAD'S WILD RIDE!! OOOOHH YEAH!"

Macho begins to strut around the ring and bouncing like a wildman!

Savage: "RIIIIIICC FLAIR! WHOOOO! You...I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH! I saw you and Sting in action on a piece of video tape while Liz was standing at ringside. Well, THE ONLY THING I SAW ON THAT TAPE WAS TWO GOONS...AND A NICE...FIVE DOLLAR...PIECE OF @$$! AND THAT'S ALL...WHOOO...I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT!!"

Macho steps out of the ring and struts around it as THP and Bobby Heenan laugh. Jim Ross comes over to the announcer's table.

JR: I don't know why he's gettin' all bent out of shape for. I wrote a newsletter and I have to be objective. I like Macho Man... but I have a JOB to do. I can't be BOUGHT OUT by offers to join up with a team.

Heart Attack: He offered you to join the Mega Powers?

JR: Yes indeed.

Publican: The Mega Powers want EVERYBODY to join them!

Heart Attack: Be quiet!

JR: Put your head in your briefcase for just a moment, please!

Heart Attack: Well.. how did it get to this?

JR: Well, I wrote a newsletter... and I picked Flair to win over Macho at WrestleMania. I talked about the fact that Flair has been in control. Savage has been challenging Flair... and Flair keeps him waiting... and it drives Savage NUTS! When your career is on the line... your wife has been stolen... you DON'T see clearly! He's gone off the deep end! That'll work against him..not for him! At WrestleMania, I pick Ric Flair to win the Career Ending Stretcher match.

Heart Attack: Even HE would admit that he's not one of the cooler heads in the WWF. So I see your point. And we're all entitled to an opinion.

JR: Alright... I don't want to hold up the match! So I'm going to let you do your job.

Pillman: Yeah, get outta here, tubbo!

Publican: yeah!

Jim Ross leaves the table as the bell rings. The camera shows... Double J, Jeff Jarrett coming through the curtains to watch. He keeps his eyes trained on Sting.

Sting opens with a punch on THP that snaps his head back. THP drops down... and Sting abdominal splashes him! At ringside, Bischoff puts his arm around Elizabeth... and MACHO GOES NUTS across the ring!!!

Bischoff and the Horsemen laugh. Heenan tries to calm Savage down.

Sting bounces off the ropes... and KNEEDROPS THP!!

Through the curtains... Sabrina Savage comes down the aisle! Arn and Benoit turn around to the timekeepers table. Arn grabs the chair from the timekeeper, and Benoit pulls up the ring bell.

Macho and Heenan are talking... and from under the ring...Todd Pettingilll and Terry Taylor come out! The Publican tosses Taylor his brief case...AND THEY ASSAULT MACHO MAN!!!

Savage blocks Benoit, who swings the ringbell...Arn slams the chair into Macho's ribs! Sabrina pulls out a twinkie and distracts the hefty referee, John Pinnette, who takes his eyes off the match.

Taylor NAILS Savage on top of the head with the briefcase, as Arn and Benoit start pounding him down! Sting pulls up a battered THP and holds him so he can see Savage getting beaten on. Sting THROWS THP outside and down to the mat.

Taylor pulls out a pair of hand-cuffs and clamps THP onto the steel barricade. Sabrina pulls the twinkie away from Pinnette... and she, Todd and Taylor leave. Arn and Benoit keep beating on Savage and THP, then throw their weapons down and walk back to Bischoff. The ref looks outside the ring... and sees THP laying there...AND HE SEES THE HANDCUFFS!!!

Pinnette looks around. Bischoff just shrugs and smiles. Heenan is yelling up, trying to explain what happened. Pinnette calls for some bolt-cutters from the back... and two men come down and cut THP out.

Savage starts to pull himself up... he's bloodied and barely concious. THP also starts to get up... and he slides into the ring. Sting grabs him... WHIPS HIM TO THE CORNER... STINGER SPLASH!!! THP takes two steps forward... and falls to the mat... Sting gets him....

SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! The ref gets into position... AND THP SUBMITS!!!! Sting let's it go, then lets out a HOWL! The Horsemen leave, holding up four fingers to the fans, as pieces of trash and sodas are thrown down at them. Bischoff just smiles at the fans.

Winner, by submission: Sting

Jarrett shakes his head, glaring at Sting... then turns and disappears behind the curtains. Razor also leaves, slapping some of the fans hands as he goes. They slap back, reaching out for him.

Heenan collects his men. Savage stands up with a wild look in his eyes. THP favors his leg... and they leave, the fans clapping for them.
