RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Mar. 24, 1997
Jim Ross is backstage. He has the mic. The Hart Foundation walk behind him, bracing Tyr's leg. The Undertaker also walks by, holding his head from the attacks from Vader... and the counter to the Tombstone from Phoenix.
JR: Feuds are exploding all over the place! First, folks... it seems that both Womankind and Roxanne will BOTH have momentum coming into WrestleMania. Both won with their finishing maneuvers, and both seem ready for each other. Roxanne has proved that she can block out Womankind's distractions and use the fans for her energy. Womankind has proven to be ruthless and calculating, mixing her unpredictibility with technical skills that are second to none!
JR: We are also seeing this developing hatred between Vader and the Undertaker! The Taker was bashed in the head by Vader before this last match got underway and....
Womankind and Sunny walk behind him and back to the dressing rooms.
Womankind: Like... HI, Jimmy.
JR: Uh... hello. Uh... where was I? Oh Yes! The Undertaker and Vader! Well, no doubt these two will meet in six days in the Casket match! Both of these men are involved in our last two matches! But first... it's TIME! I promised a new tag team tonight... and I'm deliverin'. So if you'll follow me....
Jim Ross walks through the curtains and into the arena. The camera follows him up into the ring.
(Jim Ross is in the middle of the ring with a mic.)
Jim Ross: Ladies and gentlemen...please welcome at this time a brand new tag team here in the WWF.... welcome... the BLACKJACKS!
(Justin Bradshaw and Barry Windham come out wearing their BlackJack outfits, glaring at the fans. They slowly amble to the ring and climb in.)
JR:Welcome boys. Now we all know you're here in the WWF to win the Tag Team Belts. So I won't ask questions like that. But there are so many federations to choose from to win gold. Why did you choose the WWF?
Windham: "Well, Jim Ross, we chose the WWF cause this is where all the mean, rough guys come to wrestle. Mainly US. The rest of these little punks are just a bunch of pansies."
Bradshaw: "That's right. We're here to give these little WWF punks a lesson. Hart Foundation, Enforcers, Harlem Heat, Owen and Bulldog, whoever."
JR: Now Mr.Bradshaw... you were last here in the WWF last summer, as a part of the Million Dollar Corporation. You teamed up with Billy Gunn as the Hired Guns. But you've been away since then. What have you done in the off-time... and what move are you now calling your finisher?
Bradshaw: "Those are two things that are none of your business. You can believe wherever I've been, I've been kicking butt. And as to my finisher, it'll come out in time. It's name, the Lariat, but you can be sure that it's not some sissy clothesline. You'll see in due time."
JR: Mr. Windham... you haven't been around these parts in years. Not since 1994 when you were a member of the Four Horsemen. You've used the claw hold... the superplex... the lariat... the jumping DDT. What do you have planned NOW that you've come back?
Windham: "Again, you'll find out in time. But anything I use, you can bet that the match will be over when I put it on!"
JR: The Harlem Heat are the Unified World Tag Team Champions, combining the WCW and the WWF titles. They are a hot and vicious team. They are not afraid to use any means necessary to win matches. How can YOU counterbalance that?
Bradshaw: "Real simple. We go out there and beat the crap out of them, cause they're pansies just like the rest."
Windham: "Harlem Heat, boys, your days are numbered."
JR: What about some of the other teams around here? The Road Warriors. The Hart Foundation. The Enforcers of Arn Anderson and Chris Benoit... or even Owen Hart and the British Bulldog?
Windham: "Pansies. All of them."
Bradshaw: "The BlackJacks will take them out, and you can bet on that."
JR: If you were to say something to the WWF Tag Team ranks right now... what would it be?
Bradshaw: "Run and..."
Windham: "HIDE! Cause the BlackJacks are here and on the loose!"
JR: Alright folks... thank you very much....THE BLACKJACKS!!!!
(Windham and Bradshaw climb out of the ring and walk back to the dressing rooms, glaring at the fans.)
