RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Mar. 31, 1997

COREY MAJOR PRE-MATCH COMMENTS

(Corey is back in the Raw-buttal area. He's dressed in snake-skin cowboy boots, faded blue jeans, a denim TRIPWIRE jacket with no shirt. This time, his hair is loose and running wild down the sides of his head.)

Corey: Last night at WrestleMania... I don't know WHAT to think! Sunny was lookin' pretty good. But was that a set-up or not? Blizzard, for YOUR sake, you'd better HOPE it was! Or maybe those rumors ARE true! She MAY have eyes for ME!

Corey: Speakin' of havin' EYES... that brings me to Derrick Stardom! Badd Boy... I pinned your shoulders to the mat TWICE before! I'm lookin' to make it a clean sweep and three in a row! I don't know what Heart Attack sees in you... I don't know what ROXANNE sees in you. But when I'm through goin' CRAZY on you tonight... all they'll see is a THREE time loser to Corey Major!

(Corey holds his arms and gets a confident look on his face.)

Corey: AND CHAOS ENSUES....!

DERRICK STARDOM PRE-MATCH INTERVIEW

Dok: Hellllloooo, Wrestling fans! I'm Smilin' Dok Hendriks in the backstage area... with Badd Boy Derrick Stardom... and Heart Attack! Welcome!

Stardom: What's up.... DOK!?

Heart Attack: Hey, Dok!

Dok: Welll, the question that's on everybody's mind is... are you two an.... item?

(Stardom looks toward Heart Attack with a smile.)

Heart Attack: (looks to Derrick) I'm certainly willing to say we are... if YOU are!

Stardom: Alright. I guess so! Dok... YOU CAN'T... COMBAT... CHEMISTRY!

Dok: Oh YES! I understand! Now last night... we saw you front and center at WrestleMania. And we saw the look of jubilation on your faces when Sabrina Savage was arrested and locked up! Two questions... were YOU behind that... and did they throw away the KEY?

Stardom: Sabrina Savage has not only cost me title belts... but she was ripping money out of my back pocket! I'm no fan of the Hart Foundation, just as I'm sure they don't like me. That's okay. I'm not here to win friends. I'm here to win MATCHES! And now... with Sabrina behind bars... I can get back to doin' THAT... and lookin' oh...so... FLY... in the doin'-SO!!!

Heart Attack: Sabrina getting arrested is a direct result... of what she did! I suspected for a while. I guess I'm going to have to go and look back over my OWN records from when she managed ME!

Dok: Were you behind the police's arrival?

(Stardom gives a tight smile, like he's holding back a chuckle.)

Heart Attack: I would have to say... YEAH... I was behind that. It wasn't too hard! She broke the LAW!

Dok: Well tonight... it's Corey Major. He's beaten you twice before... but you can attest THAT to Sabrina, too! Is Corey going to be mad that Heart Attack is now with you? He IS a little short tempered.

Stardom: Heart Attack told him the deal. She cut him free. He's a big boy... he'll get over it. He wants to play the martyr and make everybody feel sorry for him all the time. Well, if he wants to start trouble with BBDS, people WILL... feel sorry for him.

Dok: Heart Attack... what do YOU think about Corey? What about this match?

Heart Attack: This is going to be difficult for me. Corey and I didn't leave with any bad feelings. At least not on MY part. I think Corey understands a little bit. Corey's had eyes for someone else now... for a WHILE!

Dok: Now... when you... uh... broke up with him... you said you had a plan. You whispered something to him. WHAT was that plan? He seemed to be excited about it.

Heart Attack: I don't think I can give that up.

Dok: Oh c'mon! C'MON!

Heart Attack: Let's just say I wanted him to get over me quickly!

Dok: Uh-HUH! Anything to do with what we saw last night at WrestleMania?

Heart Attack: THAT was a SUPRISE! But hey... if Sunny's got eyes for Corey... well, I think Corey is better then the Blizzard. But of course, Derrick is better then ANYBODY!

Dok: So... you would like for Corey to be happy. And you and he to still be friends?

Heart Attack: I think we... COULD be.

Dok: Mr. Stardom. Both you and Major want the same thing. UH... I mean... you both want the I/C title belt. This is an all important match. Are you just looking for a win over him... or are you looking for payback after the two defeats he handed you!

Stardom: Priority ONE in the WWF is Mission: Imperial! The Emperor cost me my chance at getting MY belt back. When he's gone... THEN BBDS will be able to get back in the hunt and take the I/C title with the WHITE GLOVE TREATMENT.... CLEAN AND UNDISPUTED! And to get to that point... I need victories! Corey Major... you're just the first step in the ride to the top. Tonight... you'll be flat on your back and seein' STARS! I am the Badd Boy Derrick Stardom... and YOU'RE NOT! Dok?

Dok: Uh OH! (Dok fishes into his coat pocket)

Stardom: LIGHTS OUT!

(The lights click off in the interview area. But seconds later a flashlight is turned on and you can see Dok's feet walking out of the blackened area.)

Stardom: The pleasure.... was all YOURS!
