RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr. 7, 1997

...3...!!!!! THE FANS STAND AND APPLAUD!!!!

JR: NEW WORLD CHAMPION!!! ROXANNE! WHAT A GREAT WRESTLING MOVE!!! I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE!!!!

Sarah: That was a great match by both of them!!!

JR: Oh yes... IT WAS!!!

Roxanne reaches down to Wild Chylde, extending her hand. She helps up DiBiase and gives her a smile... then shrugs. 'For Those About To Rock' starts playing again.

Wild Chylde: See? I KNEW there was a reason I was holding on to that! I just had a BAD feeling!

Roxanne: You'll get a shot at it. Don't worry! That is unless I lose it in a week to Valetia Von Strahden! I'll give you a chance!

Wild Chylde: Don't make it TOO soon. I have PLENTY of time! Take your time, Roxanne. You deserve it! You've been waiting for it... for a LONG time.

The referee brings the World Belt up into the ring.

Roxanne: (points to the fans) It's THEIR belt!

Wild Chylde: That's RIGHT!

Wild Chylde takes the belt from the referee and hands it to Roxanne. She holds it up to the fans... and they cheer. Roxanne gives a thumbs up to Wild Chylde. and leaps out of the ring. Wild Chylde walks out with her. Roxanne heads over to the Road Warriors and bashes forearms with them, then gives them high-fives. All four walk out together and the fans EAT IT UP!!!!

JR: Ladies and gentlemen... we just saw a NEW Women's World champion crowned here tonight! Wild Chylde only had it a WEEK! That's GOT to be HARD on her!

Sarah: Yeah, but look who she was up against! Roxanne IS phenomenal!

JR: They're BOTH great champions! I can't wait to see the return match between those two! But in one week... it's Roxanne defending against Valetia Von Strahden! This won't be an easy test! Roxanne is going to have just as busy a schedule!

Sarah: Definitely not an easy test!

JR: The women's division getting hot and heavy here! New female athletes entering from all over the place. The title changing hands TWICE in eight days. Sarah D.... what about PSYCHO SID!!?? He battled the big man.. and came out on TOP!

Sarah: That was a great match. I KNEW he could do it!

JR: Let's talk about the dissolving of the Empire! Austin, Pillman and Sabrina... LEAVING! We saw Taylor! It looked to me like he was cheerin' when Eddie Gilbert was gettin' BEAT on! Booker T looked to be after Sid... but was that just a way to cost the Giant the match? Tonight... ANOTHER crazy situation!

Sarah: I am NOT sorry to see the Empire FALL!

JR: The Empire is crumbling. Now... what about Double J, Jeff Jarrett? Firing Cornette... but then he gets assaulted by Vader. Then... STING comes to his rescue!! Up... down... up down... what's goin' on for poor Double J? He said he's LEAVIN' after June 1st!

Sarah: I don't know WHAT'S going on with Double J. He's a phenomenal athlete. I think he's been VERY underated here.

JR: Now, if he WINS the I/C title on Thursday Night Titans....will he NOT leave the WWF to pursue his acting career?

Sarah: It'll be interesting to find out. We'll have to keep an eye on Thursday Night Titans!

JR: That's right.. the BIG NEWS.... Thursday Night Titans. The Blizzard runs his mouth off about Piper and the WWF. Piper yanks the I/C match on him... and awards it to another man that Vader has asked to meet... Double J, Jeff Jarrett! What a way to kick off Thursday Night Titans! Vader and Double J for the I/C belt! I'M EXCITED!

Sarah: I think the Blizzard had better get his HEAD on straight!

JR: We'll see the debut of Demolition! We've seen them in plenty of promos. At WrestleMania, they let their prescense be KNOWN! Fatu and Savio Vega are no pushovers... but Demolition was a dominant team in the days gone past of the WWF and wrestling... but can they get it done in the WWF of TODAY!? And let's not forget about the Ultimate Warrior taking on the man that won the Rookie Royal Rumble... JOBO!

Sarah: JoBo has the weight behind him... but the Warrior has the strength!

JR: The Warrior PRESS-SLAMMED the Giant! That's all we need to SAY! If he did that...HE CAN DO ANYTHING! Thursday Night Titans... TNT!!! FOLKS... IT'S GONNA BLOW THE RATINGS AWAY ON THURSDAY NIGHT!!!

Sarah: I CAN'T WAIT!!!
