Double A, who may have been playing possum, hits a double let take down on Neidhart, blasting the back of his head on the canvas! They begin to brawl on the mat with punches and kicks.... and even a BITE from the Anvil again!
Neidhart eats a sharp left hook to the face that allows Anderson the chance to spin him up and over... PILEDRIVER!!! Anderson stands up and gives the Four Horsemen symbol, gloating over the damage as the Anvil shakes on the mat, holding his neck in pain.
Anderson tags in Benoit and they make a legal exchange. Chris picks up the wounded Anvil and throws him to the ropes to set for a POWERSLAM! But the ANVIL was playing possum THIS time! HE RUNS FULL FORCE INTO BENOIT, KNOCKING HIM OVER... and running straight through to tag Bret!
The Hitman climbs up to the second rope and leaps off... ELBOWDROP!! Bret doesn't miss a beat as he pulls up Benoit... PILEDRIVER!! The fans start coming up to a fever pitch as the Hitman goes crisply from move to move!!!
Bret stands him up... SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!!! Bret turns over and rises up with one of Benoit's legs.... and steps in for a Sharpshooter!!! Benoit is desperate and he begins to kick with his free leg... and forces Bret back. Benoit rolls back and takes it to the air, climbing up to the outside...and to the TOP!
The Hitman moves toward the corner where Benoit is establishing his balance. Bret climbs up WITH BENOIT!!!
JR: OH MY! What's going to happen here?
Bret hooks Chris.... BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!!!
JR: WHAT IMPACT!!! WHAT A MOVE!!! WE MAY HAVE BUSTED BONES IN THIS ONE!!!!
The Hitman rises up.... AND HE'S GOING FOR THE SHARPSHOOTER AGAIN!!! Chris spins himself on the mat, desperate once again. He manages to off-balance the Hitman and pull himself free. Benoit stands up and turns toward Arn. Bret hooks one of Benoit's arms from behind... then the other....BACKSLIDE!!! The ref drops down....
1... kickout! The Hitman lets Benoit fall forward in front of him, where he grabs a leg and spins it around. Benoit sits up... and spins FREE of the move. They mat wrestle for a second... and BRET COMES UP WITH A SMALL PACKAGE....
1... kickout! Benoit flips over to his stomach and reaches out for a tag. The Hitman yanks him by the leg back to the center away from Anderson... turns him over... SHARPSHOOTER!!! IT'S ON!!! THE PLACE GOES CRAZY...
Anderson comes in... THE ANVIL COMES IN....CLOTHESLINE!!! ANDERSON IS KNOCKED BACK!!! The referee puts both wrestlers out, and in the confusion, Bret releases the Sharpshooter. He drops back on Benoit and half-nelsons him over to his back and presses his shoulders down. The ref, putting out Anderson sees this a second late... and DIVES BACK IN....
1... 2... kickout!!! The Hitman gets up to check the count, maybe a bit angry. Benoit rolls over and tags in Anderson. Bret sees Arn coming at him and does a switch behind him... AND ROLLS HIM UP!!!! The ref dives down... 1... 2... kickout!
JR: So many NEAR FALLS!
Bret stands up and tags in Neidhart. The Anvil comes in with a sadistic smile on his face. He yanks up Anderson... POWERSLAM!!! Anderson is sent for the ride.... POWERBOMB!!! Anvil tags Bret, but doesn't leave the ring....
Anvil lifts up Anderson in the center of the ring, holding him up. Bret races off the ropes and runs in... and CLOTHESLINES ANDERSON AS THE ANVIL DRIVES HIM FORWARD WITH ADDED MOMENTUM!!!
JR: THE HART ATTACK!!! THEY HIT IT!!! HERE COMES BENOIT!!!
Bret covers Anderson, but Benoit breaks it up instantly, just slipping beneath the Anvil. The referee again is forced to put everyone out. The Hitman brings Anderson up to a vertical base... hooks his arm and leg... SIDE RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP!!! Bret rolls back off of him and as Anderson is getting up... SMALL PACKAGE....
The ref is in position this time... Anvil comes in.... 1.... Benoit runs in..... 2..... Anvil AXEHANDLES BENOIT SO HARD... IT SENDS HIM OUT OF THE RING!!! KICKOUT!!! ANDERSON KICKS OUT!
JR: BENOIT IS OUT HERE IN FRONT OF US.... HE'S OUT!! HE'S OUT COLD!!!!
The Hitman gets back to back with Anderson...BACKSLIDE.... 1... 2... KICKOUT! The Hitman pulls Anderson's legs to flip him over on his back. He steps through, crosses the legs... turns around... SHARPSHOOTER!!!! THE PLACE IS GOING NUTS!!! BENOIT IS OUTSIDE... UNCONCIOUS!!! THE ANVIL IS LAUGHING!!!!
ANDERSON SUBMITS!!!! Bret releases the hold as the place goes CRAZY!!!! The Hart Foundation's music begins to play! The fans LOVE IT!

Bret and the Anvil high-five each other and hold their hands out to the fans. They leave up the aisle, high-fiving everyone. Anderson and Benoit are BOTH out cold and some officials and paramedics come down to help them out.
