RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr. 14, 1997

MEGA POWERS INTERVIEW

Jesse the Body Ventura is here, with a microphone, dressed in extreamly flashy clothing.

Jesse: Hello everyone, I am here to bring you all an exclusive inside look at the latest Mega Power's meeting. Now neither the Undertaker or Lady Tyr have appeared yet for this meeting, and seeing as what is happening in their lives I would be suprised if they did.

He opens the double doors, inside we see a large round table seated around the table are the Mega Powers. Bret Hart and Jim the Anvil Neidhart are dressed in their leather jackets and sunglasses. THP sits and stares at Randy Savage's empty seat. The Ultimate Warrior and Brutus are looking rested and pleased to be in the action again. A telepromptor is set up and upon it flashes an image of Savage at his home in Sarasota, Florida.

Animal has his feet up on the table. He's dressed in torn jeans and a black LOD T-Shirt with the sleeves torn off. The tag team belt lies right in front of him. Hawk sits to his left. He's wearing black leather pants and red LOD T-Shirt. His tag team belt is slung across his shoulder.

Savage: "Bret, brotha, I have something I gotta ask of ya. I started this stable back in November and the first man I thought of to assist in setting the foundation to what we have today is YOU! You know I recruited you heavily. I had to get you in here and I did. The reason is to hand over these six men to your control. Will you take them over?"

Bret: (pauses for a bit, thinking) Thank you Randy, I am suprised by this, as I never expected to lead a group, especially a group as experienced as this one, but I accept and hope I can do as good a job as you have done. The first thing as new leader I want to do is ask everyone here, if they will have me as their leader, I want everyone to have a say in this change in leadership.

Anvil: Hey Bret, I've followed you this far I'd follow you to the gates of hell and back.

Bret: I'll take that as a yes Jim.

THP: "Bret, I followed Randy into this federation because I trusted him. If I can trust him and he can trust you, then I can trust you."

Heenan: "Well, when I started this stable back in November, I had Savage in mind to carry this stable through the millinium. I didn't forsee you taking over this stable. Can you handle it the way I believed Randy could? if so then I agree."

Bret: I will try my best Bobby.

Bobby nods his head in agreement.

Hawk: Bret, you are probably the best wrestler here.

Animal: What?!

Hawk: I said the best wreslter, not the toughest!!! I also know you are the smartest one. So I have no problem following you. Anyone that can beat us is good!!! You show me who to beat up and I'll do it!!!

Animal: As long as I get to smash people I'm in for what ever you say, Bret!!! Let's bring the WWF to its knees!!!!!

Hawk: Animal and I are not planners we are warriors!!! We want a leader to tell us who to make bleed!!!

Animal: Long live President Hart!!!!

Warrior: Bret Hart.....I think that you would make the best leader out of all of us! And PERSONALLY......I.......VOTE.......YES!

Brutus: Yo! Bret! You know me! I VOTE YES!

Bret: Okay then, thank you for your faith in me, lets see if I can prove your choice a good one. Now, after Wrestlemania some rumors came up, and we should discuss them. Particularly lets address what role we as a stable wish to play in the WWF. Also, some of those negative rumors that have run rampant I would like to put to rest, particularly the idea that the LOD are unhappy with the Mega Powers.

Hawk: Unhappy?!

Animal: Harlem Heat would sooner pass the first grade than we'd be unhappy in the Mega-Powers!!!

Hawk: In the Mega-Powers we get to hang out with honorable people. And we learn how to fight better.

Animal: And the parties are WILD!!!

Hawk: All of the other stables hope and pray for a millionth of the skill and power we possess!!!

Bret: I guess that takes care of that rumor, now I was wondering how we saw ourselves as a stable, and what role sort of role we wish to take in the WWF, active or re-active. Either way has its positive and negative aspects. We seem to have accumulated a number of enemies, from what is left of the Horsemen, the Empire and the Rebirth, and our choices seem to be to wait for them to hit us and react or to do something more active. What do you all think?

the Anvil: I say we hit them hard and hit them now, finish off the Horsemen, take the Empire down while they are weakened, and take out the Rebirth before they are really started. HAHAHAHA!!!

Bret: What I am thinking more of active Jim is us challenging people instead of waiting to be attacked or challenged. For us to go out there and show everyone that the Mega Powers are the strongest stable in the WWF..

The Ultimate Warrior stands up in the middle of the room.

Warrior: "Guys......I would like to personally thank everyone of you for letting me enter this stable back when I was ditched by the Horsemen. I don't think that i've ever said that, but I just needed to get that off of my chest! But on to bigger and better things.......The Empire is Crumbling to the Ground! There will be no more Horsemen when we get done with them! And I agree with Bret 110%!"

Bret: Warrior, you have proven yourself over and over again since then, we all are glad you are with us now, and not against us.

(The Anvil gets up and shakes the Warrior's hand)

Anvil: Warrior you have come along way since those Bladerunner days, when we had problems between us, I am glad to have you with us man.

Bret: Okay, that is all of our meeting I feel the public needs to see Jesse.

Jesse: Alright!

He walks out of the double doors with the camera following him, as the Mega Powers continue their meeting. He shuts the doors and stands in front of them.

Jesse: There you have it folks, Bret "Hitman" Hart, has been voted in as the new head of the Mega Powers, in a unanimous vote. Also the Road Warriors are despite rumors, quiet happy with the stable. And it is possible the Mega Powers will be taking a more proactive stance toward the WWF. This has been Jesse the Body Ventura. He turns and reenters the meeting room, where a heated discussion is taking place, and the doors shut behind him.
