RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr 21, 1997

Jarrett begins... and JoBo AGAIN grabs the bottom rope... and pulls himself to the outside! Jarrett looks frustrated! Bundy looks MAD!!!

Bundy: JOBO... GET IN THE RING!!! OR I'LL DISQUALIFY YOU!!!

Bundy starts the count up again... 1... 2... 3.... 4... 5...

JoBo rolls in... Double J charges.... and DROPKICKS his leg out from under him!! JoBo crashes down onto his back hard! Jarrett pounces on him, hooking the leg... 1... 2... 3...!!!! The fans cheer!!!

JR: HE GOT HIM!!!

Winner, by pinfall, and still Intercontinental Champion: Double J, Jeff Jarrett

At ringside, Lucifer Graves begins to make a move to the ring. The Road Warriors stand in his way. He continues to try, but the LOD stand in front. Graves looks ready to attack... but he doesn't.

Then, from the rafters... IT'S STING!! He repels down out of the lights and drops down on the runway, adding to the wall of people blocking Graves. He has a ball bat with him.

Lucifer just looks up at Jarrett, in the ring.... nods... then turns and leaves. Jarrett watches him go... and doesn't see... VADER!!!

JR: FROM OUT OF THE CROWD!!! IT'S VADER!!! JARRETT... TURN AROUND!!!!

WHACK!!! Vader has a STEEL CHAIR!!! He NAILS Jarrett over the head!!! Sting turns and runs to the ring and slides in. Vader brings the chair down on Jeff again! Sting swings the bat.... and TEES OFF on Vader's head!!! Vader drops like a lead balloon!!! Jarrett is down, and is hurt.

Sting stands up Jarrett, then turns to the downed Vader. Jarrett looks around, trying to get his sense back. The referee hands him the I/C title belt... then he looks up....

...and sees Miss Elizabeth coming into the ring! She walks slowly up to Jarrett... and holds out a long stemmed rose, with a smile. Double J looks around.... smiles... and takes it! His country music begins to play and the fans give out a loud ovation!

Fireworks start exploding overhead as the music and celebration continue.

JR: WHAT A NIGHT!!! SUPRISES GALORE AND SUPERB ACTION!!! Folks, we'll see you tomorrow night on Fox... for Tuesday Night Titans! GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!!!
