Fireworks erupt over the arena in Bakersfield, California! The fans are going wild! The camera pans around, showing various signs and fans. The camera stops to show.... in the stands... the Self Made Man, S.B. Peterson, here to cheer on his friends near his hometown of Los Angeles!
JR: HOWDY!!! WELCOME TO SUPERSTARS!!! And folks... we have some news for you already!!! I just came from the backstage area where we I spoke with some paramedics.... and Diamond Dallas Page has been INJURED!! DDP was unavailable for comment in front of the cameras... but I did find out... that he had NO IDEA what happened! He was entering the locker room area... when suddenly... the lights went out... for HIM! He awoke some time later, being treated for some cuts and bruises. No one saw a thing! Page will be able to wrestle tonight against Corey Major... and we'll keep you updated if we hear anything else.
The camera shows Diamond Dallas Page, pacing around in the backstage area. He looks mad... and banged up. He's walking back and forth. A paramedic is nearby and Page nods to him as if he's ready for the match.
JR: Let's switch over now... to Dok Hendriks...
COREY MAJOR PRE-MATCH INTERVIEW
Dok Hendriks is in the locker room area. A bass guitar is propped up against a locker. Corey Major comes into view, pulling on his denim jacket and shaking around his hair in preparation.
Dok: Hellloooo wrestling fans! Dapper Dok Hendriks here along with Corey Major. Corey, you look a little better physically today... but what about MENTALLY!?
Corey: Confused, dude. Confused. Everyone paints a bad picture of Sabrina... and Dok.... they're RIGHT! But people CAN change. I don't think Sabrina can change on her own. I don't think she WANTS to change. But I can CHANGE HER!
Dok: What did BRET say about this?
Corey: Three guesses, man. Look, on Raw, I'm going to talk with Sabrina again . Face to face. I'll confront HER, rather then the other way around. I'll be ready.
Dok: Alright... I'll hold the rest of my questions about that until AFTER Raw. Maybe on TNT. Now tonight... it's DDP. You beat him once... and he's come after you TWICE since then, from behind.
Corey: Hey man... I got lucky when I pinned him in the tournament. But it wasn't desperation or luck that I put the move on. I knew what I was doing. I softened him up with moves, THEN I cradled him. I was just lucky that I hit everything the way I wanted.
Dok: Are you saying that you can't do it again?
Corey: Dok, my man... you NEVER get it right do you? (smiles and pats his shoulder.) NO! I'm just saying that LUCK is my biggest weapon. And tonight... I feel pretty lucky.
Dok: Wellll.... you SHOULD feel lucky. Did you hear that DDP was injured coming into the building just about an hour ago?
Corey: No... what happened?
Dok: Nobody knows! Nobody saw anything! Not even Page! He'll be entering the match injured.
Corey: Big DEAL! He's a PRO... a VETERAN! How many times do I have to enter the ring injured! Sabrina is RIGHT about THAT! It's a shame that Page got hurt... but dude... that's all part of this sport. I wrestle hurt all the time.
Dok: What do you have to say to Diamond Dallas Page?
Corey: Dude! You better be READY! Last time you laughed at me... but I was the only one left with a smile on my face when I scored the pinfall. THIS time, you had BEST be looking out. Because Chaotic Corey Major is going to be in the ring... and rookie or not, I am a THREAT. Crappy skills or not... I can WIN! And whether it's with the Tilt-a-whirl slam... or the freakin' HEADLOCK, or even LADY LUCK.... I'll be lookin' for a way to make it two in a row against you. So DDP... diamond-dude.... get ready... because tonight.... CHAOS WILL ENSUE!!!
