RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr. 28, 1997

The Hitman ducks under Smash.... and BACKDROPS HIM!!! Smash is flipped over and to his back... but starts to get up. Bret hooks his head... spins him over... NECKBREAKER!!! Bret, like clockwork, comes up to a vertical base, pulling Smash with him... SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!

Bret flips over on top of Smash, already grapevining the legs... he sits up... WITH THE SHARPSHOOTER ON!!! THE FANS GO NUTS!! Ax comes in.... THE ANVIL COMES IN....

Bret takes a punch to the face from Ax... and falls back... but he STILL HAS THE LEGS LOCKED! The Anvil is knocked back by Ax... and the referee tries to get between them!!! Ax won't leave! He goes after Bret again.... and...

THE BELL RINGS!!! The referee is calling for the bell!! The Anvil comes back in and CLEARS THE RING OF DEMOLITION.. who regroup with their manager, Jim Cornette outside the ring.

JR: WHAT HAPPENED?

John Pinnette... RAISES BRET AND ANVIL'S HANDS!!!

Sarah: HE DISQUALIFIED DEMOLITION!

Stevie: I told ya they'd beat them!!!

From under the ring, fog billows up and Demolition and Jim Cornette enter it. After a few moments, the fog rolls up the aisle... and out of the arena.

Bret and Anvil hold their hands up to the fans, as fireworks go off over the ring, and their music begins to play.

Winners, by disqualification: the Hart Foundation

Owen and the Bulldog point up at the Harts... and Clarence Mason laughs. They turn and leave, exchanging glares with the Road Warriors who threaten to swing at them with their nightsticks.

JR: Demolition won't be happy with THIS kind of loss either! Nonetheless, the Harts did it! And this coming Sunday, they could become the World Tag Team Champions!

Sarah: Demolition may have lost, but they showed us that they are a tough team. They've YET to be pinned!

JR: True enough! And with a little experience, they could get a championship form in no time!

Stevie: I can't BELIEVE you SUCKAAAS!

JR: Well, up next is a bit that we've ALL been waiting for. We're going to find out the FUTURE of the Blizzard Adrien Blades. Let's let Kevin Kelly take it from here..he's on LIVE!

THE BLIZZARD ADRIEN BLADES LIVE VIA SATILLITE

The camera focusses in on The Blizzard,Bam Bam Bigelow and Kevin Kelly. Blizzard looks to be in bad shape...he looks sad and like he hasn't been taking care of his body. His face is full of cut's and he hasn't shaven...he is wearing a dark suit. He is looking down at the floor...and occasionaly looks up the camera. When the camera focusses in on his face we see tears in the beginning. Bam Bam has some papers in front of him,he is looking very serious. Kevin Kelly even looks a little touched. Kevin Kelly brings the microphone to his mouth...and he softly begins to speak.

K.Kelly : Well...uuuuhm...ladies and gentlemen. "The Blizzard" Adrian Blades told us all he would have news concerning his future WWF career. And well...tonight is the night...and if I saw it correctly...we have an emotionaly upset Blizzard...and a dead serious Bam Bam Bigelow. And if my eyes didn't deceive me...I saw official retirement papers just a few seconds ago. But now let's hear what both parties have to say. Let's first take a look what caused this all.

(A short clip of Blizzard getting put out of buisness by Bret Hart,Double J and Stone Cold & Brian Pillman)

Now let's hear from Bam Bam Bigelow what these papers are for.

Bam Bam Bigelow : Well...I gotta say in all honesty...I might not like all the decisions this guy made. But it's alway's a little painfull to lose young talent here in the WWF. Especially if it is because of an injury. But I don't really know much more then everyone else does. The only thing I was asked to do was to bring these letters...which would sign "The Blizzard's" Adrian Blades" official retirement. So...I'll guess we'll just listen to Mr.Blades...and I'll hand him the papers...and we'll see where it ends up.

(Bam Bam "pushes" the official papers towards The Blizzard).

(The Blizzard looks up for a second...and looks ready to sign the papers)

Blizzard : (With an extremely low and sad voice...like he has a soar throat) I'll first tell you...why I am here. Uuuuhm...well...as you all might know...I am injured right now. That's nothing "new" to me or to you people. I have been injured before...so there is nothing new to me there. And I have alway's come back everytime. But uuuhm...this time (pauses a little while)...uuuhm...the doctors didn't have some good news like all the last times. This time...(a tear rolls down his face) I can't come back. I have taken alot of punishment over the past few months. Both mentally and physically. Everyone knows and saw that. And this stupid thing with Austin and Pillman...it was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Bam Bam : So...if I can sum it up...your career is over ?

Blizzard : ....
