...SHAWN.... frees his leg... and rolls back out of the way... THE GIANT HITS THE RING HARD!!!!!!!! THE PLACE GOES CRAZY!!!!
JR: I'VE SAID IT BEFORE... I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE!!! HE MAY BE HURT BAD!!!!
Shawn kips up and looks around at the fans!! They cheer!!! The Giant is nearly motionless!!! Shawn pulls himself up in the corner... and goes to the top.... perches himself... DROP PUNCH FROM THE TOP!!! The Giant is caught right in the face, and his legs kick up from the impact!!! Shawn kips up again!!!
Sarah: He's got the momentum back now!!!
JR: He's taking chances! They'll either pay or... or BEAT HIM!!!
Michaels goes back up to the top of the cage again!!! He climbs up facing the fans... and gets all the way to the top, his back to the ring whee the prone Giant is. And Shawn... MOONSAULTS BACK.... NOBODY HOME!!!
JR: OH NO!!! Live by the FLY... DIE by the FLY!!!
The Giant stands up and pulls up Shawn. He lifts him up... and sets him on the top rope... and climbs up with him. He pulls up Shawn again... and lifts him up HIGHER... and sets him on the TOP OF THE CAGE, FACING OUTWARDS. The Giant climbs up to the top turnbuckle, facing into the ring. He reaches up and hooks both of Shawn's arms....
JR: NO! A RAZOR'S EDGE FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE?
Heart Attack: If he hits this... IT'S OVER!!!
Sarah: NO!!!
The Giant holds his balance... hooking Shawn under the arms..... and he falls forward... A RAZOR'S EDGE FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE!!!! Shawn's body folds up like an accordian!! The Giant MANAGES TO BRIDGE WITH IT UPON IMPACT!! The referee does his task... and drops down... 1... 2... 3...!!!
THE FANS LET OUT A CHORUS OF BOOS AS THE GIANT RISES UP LAUGHING!!!
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen... the winner... of the MAIN EVENT... on TNT.... THE GIANT!!!!!!!
The Giant's music begins to play... as the LIGHTS GO COMPLETELY OUT!!! The music plays on...
JR: This is unusual... the lights are OUT! Shawn Michaels needs medical attention!!!
A minute later, the lights come back on... and a HOLE has been ripped in the mat! Stevie Ray is in the ring!!! He has a ball bat wrapped in barbed wire... and has on BRASS KNUCKLES!! He comes up out of the hole... and the Giant turns at him.
Stevie rushes in... AND ATTACKS SHAWN MICHAELS!!
Sarah: NO!!!
JR: What is THIS?? Is this another Empire scheme???
Stevie lays into Michaels with shots from the bat... and a punch with the knuckles to the head!!! Shawn is getting pummeled...but the Giant doesn't move in!! The fans are chanting... DIESEL!! DIESEL!! DIESEL!!!
AND BIG DADDY COOL COMES RUNNING DOWN THE AISLE!!! THEY CHEER!
Then... BOOKER T. climbs out of the hole.. with the same type of weapons!!! Booker takes the barbed wire and wraps it around the bloody Shawn's throat and chokes him out!!! Stevie continues to slam punches into his face and ribs!!!
Diesel gets to the cage and begins shaking at it... trying to tear it down!! He can't! He begins to climb up the cage to get in....
Booker T ties the barbed wire around Shawn's arms behind his back.... and Steive punches him in the face again with the brass knuckles!! Shawn is hurt... and hurt BAD!!!!
Diesel comes diving over the cage and jumping down in the middle of the ring! Harlem Heat dive into the hole and rush under the ring! They emerge under the apron... and rush up the aisle. The Giant breaks his side of the cage down and walks over to the announcers...
JR: SHAWN MICHAELS!! THIS IS HORRIBLE!!! Giant... what's going on?!!!
Diesel helps up Shawn and calls for the paramedics, who come running down the aisle at full speed. Shawn is bleeding everywhere... and is barely moving. Some fans around ringside are crying. The Giant takes the microphone...
Giant: I'M TIRED OF WRESTLING SID THEN DIESEL, THEN THIS PUNK... THEN SID AGAIN... THEN DIESEL! I WANT A CHANGE! AND I WANT IT TO START WITH MY CHALLENGE HERE! I WANT JARRETT NEXT WEEK... FOR THE I/C TITLE. IT'S ABOUT TIME I GET A TITLE SHOT... AND I HOPE YOU HAVE THE GUTS TO GIVE ME THE CHALLENGE!!!
The Giant throws the mic down hard and it bounces off. He leaves as the paramedics help out Shawn.
JR: I don't think he answered my question, but I'm not going to push the issue.
Heart Attack: I don't know WHAT is going on!
JR: I'm not so sure the Empire is as finished as they would like us to believe! And what about that BODYGUARD of Shawn's. Where was HE? Was THAT some kind of set-up, too?
Sarah: I don't know WHAT happened or WHAT'S going on!

POST EVENT MEDICAL UPDATE
Shawn Michaels suffered numerous injuries, to many to list. He was stablized in the San Diego Hospital after being listed at Critical Condition. He will be out of action for 28 days and will return on the 28th of May.
President Piper has announced that he will make a decision regarding Shawn Michaels' seed at Qualify 97 at the event itself.
