The Match:
Venus comes to the ring with her long white cloak and carrying her bow. She stops in the middle of the aisle and does a few short swings with the bow and then walks down to the ring where she takes the cloak off by twirling the bow which grabs on to the bottom of the cloak, and jerks it off. Fans cheer!JR: Well... I'M impressed! She looks READY!
Heart Attack's music plays and she and Derrick walk through the curtains. She distractedly slaps hands with some fans as she goes. When she gets to the ring she confers with Derrick for a while, putting off entering the ring. Eventuall, Derrick pushes her up the steps.
She looks back uncertainly then resolutely turns towards the ring and enters. She extends her hand to Venus. Venus shakes it. The bell sounds.
Venus and H.A. lock up. Venus does a go-behind into a BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!!! She PLANTS her down HARD in the ring!
A small ruckus is heard. Cameras zip up the aisle to show Jim Cornette, verbally arguing with the fans. They are pointing and laughing at his clothes and he yells back at them.
JR: Looks like James E is back to scouting once again!
Venus gets down on the mat with Heart Attack and grapevines her. She then hooks the leg.... hits a cross face...into the STF!!!! She cranks it on as Heart Attack struggles with it.
Venus lets the legs go and pulls up Heart Attack by the neck, turning her into a FRONT LAYOUT SUPLEX!!! Venus covers, hooking the leg.... the ref dives down... 1.... 2.... KICKOUT!
Both wrestlers scramble to their feet.... as GOLD-DUST steps out of the curtains and watches the match from the top of the aisle. She pays no mind to the fans, or to Jim Cornette who is still yelling at the fans, trying to concentrate on the match.
H.A. brings up a solid knee-lift into the mid-section of Venus, then grabs an arm and turns it into a chickenwing. Venus struggles a bit with it... until she backs up slightly out of it... hooks H.A.'s waist... GUT WRENCH SUPLEX!!! THAT breaks the chickenwing!
Venus pulls up the veteran.... and hooks her around the waist again... GUT WRENCH... BUT SHE BRIDGES AT THE END!!! The ref dives down... 1.. KICKOUT!!! Both wrestlers get up to their feet again... Venus pulls in Heart Attack.... TIGER SUPLEX!!! She leaps on top, hooking the leg.... 1... 2... 3...!!!!
JR: AN UPSET!!! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!!
Venus pops up victorious!!!
Howard Finkel: Here is YOUR WINNER... VENUS VICTRIX!!!
Heart Attack sits up with her head in her hands... and then stands angrily. She takes a step towards Venus, glaring at the back of her head. She stands that way for a second... then shakes her head and turns to leave. She talks rapidly with Derrick on the way out, gesturing angrily with her hands.
Venus has taken the microphone and she looks up the aisle at Gold-Dust.
Venus: Gold-Dust, I don't know much about you dear, but I respect you already. I'm flattered that you would mention my name among Tyr's and Wild Chylde's. They're so much better then me. BUT, you seem to be a tad bit JEALOUS. If you want to settle this jealousy in the ring, so be it, sign me up. Heart Attack, GREAT MATCH! You really took me to the limits. All my opponents have. I never got to congratulate Tyr on the thrashing she handed me the other night. I'd like a little revenge with you Tyr, it that's alright.
The camera shows Gold-Dust watching. She tilts her head at her... then turns and leaves.
JR: Well folks... this weekend on WWF Superstars... it WILL BE Venus Victrix against Gold-Dust! That should be a GREAT match!
Sarah: Heart Attack didn't look too happy about that match!
JR: Well, there was a lot riding on that match. It was a rough way to lose!
Sarah: Well, I suppose we'll be seeing her in a few moments.... Derrick Stardom is up next!
JR: Indeed! Let's go backstage with him now...
