The Match:
'Rocket' by Def Leppard begins to play and the Chalmers Community Center erupts in boos! Trash and cups are thrown down onto the aisle as Pillman, Austin and Sabrina come through the curtains. Pillman is holding his crutch and he takes a wild swing at section 13 and the fans duck. He laughs hysterically at them.Austin just marches toward the ringside area. He heads straight for the Spanish commentators table and Carlos Cabrerra and Hugo Savinovich dive out of the way. Austin slides everything off the table and kicks the steel chairs away. Stone Cold picks up one of the TV monitors and yanks the cord out. He drags the wooden table over and slides it up next to the ring... then he grabs a chair out from underneath Tony Garea and slams it down in front of the table.
Pillman slides into the ring, holding his crutch over his head. He gets down on one knee and looks like he's thanking the fans for their ovation.
Austin is still moving around ringside. He walks over to Jim Ross and rips his head set off and throws it down onto the table he set up near the ring. Stone Cold puts the TV monitor down on the table... and takes a seat.
JR: It looks like he's setting up his OWN broadcast position!
The cameraman comes around the side of the ring to get a closer look at Stone Cold and he just looks up and gives the double middle-finger to the camera. Pillman hands his crutch out to Austin, who sets it down on the table.
Sabrina apologizes to the Spanish commentators and makes sure Ross has the extra head-set working. Sarah D and Heart Attack look relieved to have gone unnoticed by Austin.
The Hart Foundation's music starts to play as the Hitman heads down the aisle, followed by the Anvil, Brutus Beefcake and the Ultimate Warrior. They pass by the Road Warriors, who are still patrolling around ringside. The Canadian fans all start cheering for their countryman. When Bret gets to ringside, he takes off his jacket and sunglasses, giving them to a young boy at ringside. He then rolls into the ring and sits on the middle rope in his corner, waiting for the bell.
The Anvil also has on a leather jacket and he takes up a position at ringside. The Road Warriors continue to circle around, keeping an eye out.
The bell sounds....! Bret moves straight in on Pillman and goes for the legs. Pillman adjusts and takes the Hitman down with a drop toe hold. He holds the leg... puts his own leg over it... LEGDROP! Pillman holds the leg still... and HAMSTRING PULLS IT.
While still holding the foot, he holds the leg straight up in the air and begins knee smashing it on the back of the leg... then he kicks at it repeatedly. He yanks at the leg, pulling the Hitman up to his feet. He swings the Hitman's other leg around, keeping him off balance... and throwing him THROUGH THE ROPES.... CRASHING THROUGH THE TABLE ON THE OUTSIDE!!!!
Austin stands up, looking ready. Sabrina motions to the table and shakes her head. Austin backs away, listening to Sabrina.
JR: THE HITMAN LOOKS HURT!! HE WENT THROUGH THE TABLE!!!
Sarah: LOOK OUT!!!
From behind... THE ROAD WARRIORS ATTACK AUSTIN!!! They whack him down with their nightsticks! Fans BOO!!! Sabrina motions for Pillman to help... and he DIVES OUT OF THE RING ONTO HAWK WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!! HAWK GOES DOWN!!!
Animal pulls out a WANTED POSTER with Austin's face on it and drops it down on his body. Sabrina pulls out her aerosol can... and tries to spray it at Animal... but misses. Pillman pulls up his crutch from the splintered table... and WHACKS Animal in the back of the head!!! Sabrina helps up Austin... and holds him back from going after the Road Warriors. She motions for Pillman to stay on Bret.
The Road Warriors stumble to their feet and head out... hearing some boos from the fans.
Heart Attack: HYPOCRITES!! They attack... but don't want OTHERS to do it!
JR: These fans are letting them HEAR IT, too!
The Anvil has come around the corner of the ring with Brutus and the Warrior. Sabrina is moving Austin back away from them. Bret is just barely moving amidst the broken table. Pillman climbs up to the top rope... and to the outside... HITS AN ABDOMINAL SPLASH.... HIS FINISHER!!!
JR: RIGHT ON THE MONEY!!! RIGHT ON THE TABLE'S PIECES!!!
Pillman rolls Bret into the ring... he's almost OUT COLD! Pillman rolls in on top of him, hooking the leg! The ref drops down... 1... 2...
JR: HE GOT HIM!!!!!
