Gold-Dust
vs.
Venus Victrix

The Match:
Gold-Dust's music plays. She walks out wearing her normal gold jumpsuit under a gold robe. She has on gold sunglasses and she glares out at the fans through them. She enters the ring as the gold glitter drops down from above.... and looks out at them once more.

Next, Venus comes out in her long white cloak and carrying her bo staff. She does tricks with it as she comes down, finally hooking the bottom of her cloak with it and twirling it off.

She rolls in and circles around Gold-Dust, stalking her close to the ground. Gold-Dust offers her hand out to Venus, who wisely declines. The two move to lock up... and G.D. throws a quick karate kick to Venus' mid-section, doubling her over. Gold-Dust leaps up and brings a scissor kick to the back of the rookie's head.

Venus stays on her feet from the kick, absorbing the damage... but she is quickly dropped from a swift spin by Gold-Dust into a leg sweep. Gold-Dust continues to kick and drop punches on the prone Venus, as Atlantra walks down the aisle, laughing evily as she looks up into the ring.

Gold-Dust backs up from Venus... who carefully rises up, ready for anything. Dust charges in and CHOP BLOCKS the powerful Venus to the mat, diving into her left knee.

Atlantra stops halfway down the aisle, carefully watching. At the top of the aisle.... Jim Cornette arrives! He's once again quarrelling with the fans, but this time he has a serious look on his face.

Cornette: What do you think you're doing? I'm trying to scout here!

The fans continue to razz him about his choice attire.

JR: Starr Blaze turned down the offer.... but that won't stop James E from finding another prospect!

Venus is getting battered from the martial arts prowess of Gold-Dust. Venus throws in a lariat clothesline that stuns Gold-Dust. Dust quickly jumps back out of Venus' reach, not willing to be close enough to the suplexes. Venus makes a move at her... and Dust drops down and knocks the left knee out from under Victrix again. Venus stays on her feet this time!!!!

Gold-Dust gets up to survey the damage.... and is suprised to see... THERE IS NONE!!!! Venus hooks Dust.... TIGER SUPLEX!!!! Venus covers... 1... 2... KICKOUT!!!

JR: She almost had her!!! Gold-Dust isn't compromised enough yet.

Heart Attack: I've been in THAT!

Venus gets up from the pin attempt... and Gold-Dust rolls to the outside, catching her breath. The referee yells at her to get back in. Gold-Dust walks around ringside, past Austin and Pillman... rounds the corner past the aisle where Atlantra is... and further back, James E. Cornette.... then rolls into the ring....

....INTO A CLOTHESLINE!!! Gold-Dust is knocked back into the ropes.... but uses them for momentum and nails Venus ... with the PREMIERE KICK!!! Venus drop! Gold-Dust drops down and hooks the leg... 1.... Venus gets a shoulder up!

The two spin to their feet.... where Venus hooks a leg and the neck... SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!!! Both wrestlers crash to the mat....

Sarah: That took a lot out of BOTH of them!

JR: It all comes down to conditioning. Venus took a lot more damage this match.....

And sure enough Gold-Dust is the first to rise up... pulling up Venus' left leg with her. She twists Venus over to her stomach, and hooks the shin under her shoulder... and sits back with a half boston crab! Venus reaches out... and grabs the bottom strand... and the referee forces the break.

Gold-Dust leaps away from Venus, backing up cautiously. Venus gets up to her feet, shaking her leg to get circulation moving once again. The two lock up. Venus spins her... hooks her..... FRONT LAYOUT SUPLEX!!!! Venus then holds her down for the pin... 1.... 2.....
