WWF Superstars, May 17, 1997

Starr: Ladies and gentleman, you bear witness to the first of what I hope to make several victories over the injustices I have seen in and out of the ring in this federation. Tonight I fought for America... but this flag...

Blaze gestures to the flag waving in the turnbuckle.

Starr: This flag represents more than just the future America... it represents entire worlds united in hope and harmony and freedom. The American dream is a timeless one of liberty and justice for all, and it doesn't matter who you are and where or when you were born... if you hold those ideals in your heart, then you make the world a better place.

Blaze walks over to the ropes and motions to an attendant at ringside, who pulls ANOTHER flagpole from under the apron, this one clearly displaying the red and white maple leaf of Canada! The attendant hands it to Blaze, who walks over to the turnbuckle opposite where the first flag is planted.

Starr: Citizens of Canada, you have a great nation of your own, one you should be proud of. But more than that, be proud of your fairness and your freedom... be proud of your sons like Bret Hart, who have proven time and again that you don't have to cheat to win, you just have to give it your best! In the end, the only boundaries are not of nations, but of hearts and souls, and I am just as proud to have fought here for you as I would be within the United States. Canada, I salute you!

Blaze twirls the maple leaf and plants it in the same position on the opposite ringpost. She gives a final salute to the audience and leaves, taking some time to interact with the fans on her way out as spotlights pick out both flags and the Canadian anthem plays...

Starr Blaze receives a loud ovation as she leaves. The camera comes back to the announcer's table.

JR: A successful debut match... and VERY impressive!

Sarah: Starr Blaze lived up to all her hype!

Heart Attack: She should have a fine career here in the WWF.

JR: That is until she FIXES the future! Let's keep Superstars rolling! I see Dok Hendriks up in the ring!

INTERVIEW WITH DOK HENDRIX

DOK: ladies and gentleman my guest this week the 1-2-3 Kid!!!

(The Kids music plays as him and dean douglas step through the curtain and heads towards the ring.)

DOK: hi kid how are you doing

Kid:im doing great but i got a surprise for all the fans out here.

DOK: what is it?

KID: well i have another manager, ladies and gentleman welcome the one and only Sunny!!!!!!

Everyone turns toward the runway.... and the spotlights come down... but there's no Sunny. Everyone looks around confused. The Kid and the Dean look up the aisle in amazement.

DOK: what's going on?

KID: i don't know!

The Dean and the Kid wait for a moment as the arena falls silent. He looks around disappointed... then he and the Dean leave.

JR: I wonder what happened?

Sarah: Why would Sunny go with the Kid after he tried to lie about the two of them being together earlier this year!

JR: You've got a good point there. But still... the Kid really seemed certain she was going to come out. Did she say she WAS going to? We need to get some ANSWERS!
