RESULTS: Monday Night Raw May 19, 1997

Corey Major is in the Raw-buttal area. He is wearing an Ultimate Warrior t-shirt... the one with the Warrior press-slamming the Giant.

Corey: Hey dudes! This is IT! Championship RAW! And like I've said before... I heard the rumors in the back that a certain fool was going to try to cost my bud, the Warrior, his chance at winning the I/C title. Well... I ain't gonna let that happen! When I was in the hospital last December, the Warrior visited me and swore he would help me out... and the dude DID! Now it's time to repay the favor! Cameraman.... get a WIDE shot of ringside for this one. That's all I got to say!

CHAMPIONSHIP RAW
LIVE FROM PHILADELPHIA, PA

Red and white fireworks burst over the Corestates Center in Philadelphia. Fans jump up out of their seats as the camera crane zips past them. Fans hold up signs for.... COME BACK UNDERTAKER.......SID IS THE MAN..... SEND IN THE CLOWN.....and of course... WWF FEARS ECW!

The camera comes down to the announcer's table to find Jim Ross, Sarah D, Heart Attack and Vincer Kaden.

JR: WELCOME TO THE CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE!!! It's Philadelphia, PA and the Corestates Center... for CHAMPIONSHIP RAW!!!! I'm Jim Ross with Heart Attack... Sarah D... and .... he's BACK! Vincer Kaden!

Vincer: Thank you Jim Ross. And how is everyone tonight?

Heart Attack: (smiles) Fine.

JR: I'm doin' DANDY!

Sarah: Um... Okay!

JR: Tonight... FOUR big TITLE matches! Psycho Sid defending against the man they call... VADER!

Heart Attack: Definitely interesting. I doubt people will stay away from ringside in that one.

JR: Maybe... maybe NOT! Look here!

A mixture of boos and cheers welcomes the Road Warriors as they step through the curtains and come down to ringside.

The King's music begins to play... and he comes down the aisle to the broadcast area, laughing and pointing at the fans as he goes. He gets to the table and puts on a headset:

King: Oh yeah! It's Championship Raw! And who knows more about being a champion than ME? I'm gonna give my expert analysis here tonight, and if if you guys don't like it . . . TOO BAD! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

JR: Always a pleasure, King. ALWAYS.

Behind the announcers, the camera shows S.B. Peterson and Yokozuna sitting next to each other. Peterson, and a big section of fans behind him as wearing 'Bring back Bob the Angry Clown' t-shirts. Yokozuna is dressed in a business suit, tie and sunglasses.

JR: Well take a look at THAT! I'm going to try to get a word with S.B.later on... we'll see just WHY he has been attending the WWF events.

Heart Attack: Looks like Bob the Angry Clown caught on!

Sarah D shows that she is wearing a Bob the Angry Clown T-shirt, and a Get Well Shawn hat.

JR: Well, I GOT a t-shirt... but get this... IT WAS TWO SIZES TOO SMALL!! An extra LARGE no less!All the titles are on the line tonight.... and Macho Man Randy Savage... the most decorated wrestler EVER in WWF history will be here with us to give us some information on a WWF title.

King: AND . . . we'll have a VERY special King's Court here this week, as my guest is none other than . . . Canada's favorite stepchild, Bret Hart! What do you think about THAT?

JR: Well, I'll be anxious to hear what he has to say! Stone Cold is here tonight... and he may accept his challenge for Superstars Revenge. We know Luxury is here, and hopefully she has brought her team with her. THEY will be facing the Hitman and Anvil for the tag titles! Bret probably has a LOT to say!

Vincer: I have my suspicions about Luxury's team. This should prove to be interesting.

Heart Attack: Are you guys going to BET on these matches?

JR: Oh no... I'm past my gambling days now! (smiles at Vincer.) But perhaps Dok Hendriks will take him up on some offers!

Vincer: I, for one, am anxiously awaiting the Women's Title match. (turns to Heart Attack) Though it is unfortunate that you did not win on TNT... because YOU could have been in that match.

Heart Attack: Yeah... it was unfortunate... BUT.... I'm forging ahead!

JR: And of course... opening up tonight, Double J defends his I/C title against... THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR!! The Warrior is standing by... let's hear from him!
