RESULTS: Monday Night Raw May 19, 1997

KICKOUT!!! Jarrett kicks out... but he looks hurt!

Vincer: Both of these men have impressed me... AND my... sources. I would call it... PICK EM.

The Warrior stands up and looks around. He signals for the press slam... and Jarrett rolls to the outside, again catching his breath. He walks around the side, nodding his head to Elizabeth and the Roadie. He looks around and sees a bunch of his fans holding out their Double J gloves! He shakes his head and pulls himself up onto the apron. The Warrior rushes in... and Double J vaults OVER the top rope...

DROPKICK!!! But the Warrior doesn't go down!!! He slaps on a front facelock on the champion... and pulls him up into a vertical suplex.... NO.... A BRAIN BUSTER!!!! Double J looks hurt bad!!! The Warrior stands up... and doesn't waist a moment to whip Jarrett to the ropes.... SPINEBUSTER!!!!

The Warrior hits the ropes.... bounces off... WARRIOR SPLASH!!!! He hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3...!!!! THE CORESTATES CENTER ERUPTS!!!

The Roadie rushes over to the timekeepers table and takes the I/C title belt. He gets into the ring and helps up Double J... then hands him the title. Jarrett looks down on it as the Warrior's music dies back down. Jarrett gets completely up to his feet and walks out to the center of the ring... and hands the title to the Warrior!!!

The Warrior's music plays again as Double J raises his arm into the air! The fans go BALLISTIC!!!

King: NO! That was only TWO!!! Is the ref BLIND!?! Hold my headset!!

The King comes up to the ring and protests to the referee, holding up two fingers then motioning to his shoulder, claiming it was up before the three count. Referee John Pinnette holds up three fingers and points to the Warrior. The King looks disgusted and he comes back down to the table. Jarrett passes by him and tries to calm him down.

King: I can't believe it! That referee is a MORON! Where's Piper? Take some action and fire that referee!

JR: Double J is taking this better then YOU are!

Jarrett walks up the aisle, slowly. He turns and looks back at the ring... then disappears through the curtain with Liz and the Roadie. The fans applaud his sportsmanship. Up in the ring, the Mega Powers congratulate the Warrior on his big win. He holds the title up to the fans!

JIM ROSS INTERVIEWS

JR gets up from his seat and turns back to the fans... where S.B. and Yokozuna are sitting.

JIM ROSS:(shakes hands with S.B. Peterson) Mr. Peterson, in recent weeks everyone here in has noticed your sudden re-appearence back in the WWF. We all know you retired from managing and wrestling due to a back injury but, you seem to be once again taking an interest in the WWF. Then, about a week ago, you were seen with Yokouna sitting here beside you!Can you tell us why you have been attending the WWF cards as of late?

S.B. Peterson: Well, I guess this is a good as time to finally speak my mind. Yes, J.R. you have been correct in everything you have stated. Basicly after leaving the WWF, I travelled alot. I was visiting far off lands to search for some cure to my back trouble. Finally in I found it. This cure has been passed down from generation to generation and I was lucky enough to be able to have this cure done on myself. My back is healing nicely due to this but I was ordered by the doctor to watch myself. So, I went out and got myself a bodyguard. his name is..YOKOZUNA!

JIM ROSS: Does this mean thne, you will be returning to the WWF? If so, in what way? As a manager, wrestler, or even announcer?

S.B. Peterson: I really can't say any more right now J.R. I just want to watch some great matches. Sorry.

(Peterson sits back down ans Jim Ross returns to his announcing position)

JR: Well, it looks like that's all we're going to find out tonight... but it's a little more!

 (JoBo and ZoBo are seen in the interview area)

ZoBo: Poor Hall. That's too bad about your injury, and Derrick Stardom my JoBo was not trying to help you. He was just trying to show Mr. Hall what it's like to tangle with my JoBo.

JoBo: HALL!! GET READY TO LOSE!!

ZoBo: Now Blaine Parker?? You want a match with JoBo? Fine. Done!

JoBo: PARKER!! YEAH!!
