The Match:
The countdown, as lights swirl throughout the arena."5... 4... 3... 2... 1..."...
the rocket takeoff SHAKES the building and smoke billows out of the entry way, and Starr Blaze comes jogging down the aisle to a techno accompaniment, waving and smiling to the fans. Reaching the ring she jumps onto the apron, then grabs the top rope and somersaults over it into the center. She holds her hands up to the fans as she turns around, then unhooks the batons at her side and draws them out, snapping into a Da Vinci like pose as the spotlights give way to a laser lightshow lighting up the darkness!
The driving techno beat doubles in intensity as she begins an incredible rhythmic display, twirling the batons into blurs of red light as she passes them under a leg kicked up almost vertical, then tosses both in the air and spins before catching them.
More moves follow and the lightshow is now blinking off and on, revealing that portions of Starr's outfit and makeup are flourescent and glow in the dark! The music and light build to a climax and end with Starr stopping both batons pointed at a far wall.
In the near darkness and sudden silence the tips of the batons begin to glow and a whining, high-energy hum is heard building, then a crimson beam LANCES out of each rod, triangulating on the wall which begins to smoke and spark as she etches out the word 'BLAZE' on it in huge glowing letters! The lights snap back on and Blaze catches one baton under her arm and thrusts the other up in a closed fist, shouting "YEAH!"
Blaze bows to all four sides, basking in the ovation that follows, then returns the batons to her belt harness and removes it, handing it off to ringside and preparing to wrestle.
"Soft Oriental Chimes" plays, and the lights dim slightly as a green spotlight covers the entrance, and Jade steps out, wearing her black and green silk robe, a huge smile on her face as she waves to the cheering crowds. She waits a moment for the Sensei to follow with his staff, and then heads down towards ringside, slapping hands on the way down.
When she gets to ringside, Jade pulls off the sash around her robe, and removes the robe, revealing her green spandex tank top and wrestling shorts. She hands the robe to Sensei, than walks around alongside the ring, looking at the young men clamoring for her attention. She singles one out and waves the others away.
She walks towards him, a bespectacled young man about in his very early twenties, who looks a little nervous. Jade gives a little "come here" wave with her hand, and he looks around and then points to himself as if to say "Who, me?". Jade nods, still smiling mischeviously, as he comes closer, then when he gets to the edge of the railing she takes the sash in both hands, reaches over his head, and drapes it behind his neck.. then Jade pulls him forward a little with it, so that they are face-to-face. The young man gulps, wide-eyed, and Jade giggles slightly.. then kisses him on the bridge of his nose, just below his glasses.
She stands back a step, and tweaks his nose gently, then ties the green silk sash in a loose knot around his neck and blows another kiss to him, then jumps up onto the apron, giving a wink to the closest camera, and vaults over the ropes into the ring.
The Sensei begins pacing back and forth at ringside, for the best possible view. He then turns and sees Atlantra come down and take a seat at the commentators table. The Sensei keeps her in view at all times. The bell rings...
Jade opens up with a karate kick... then a rapid series of kicks into Blaze... her feet never returning to the canvas....KICK... KICK... KICK..!! Finally Blaze ducks under a kick and pulls up into an armbar. She twists the arm around and takes Jade down.
Jade sits out and spins behind Blaze pushing her face first into the mat and grapevining the leg, putting on a nerve hold on it. Blaze escapes and kips up to her feet. Jade swings her leg around for a sweep and Starr vaults over it. Jade kips up to her feet and Starr hooks back on the armbar. Jade reverses it... doubling Blaze forward. She releases the hold... then hits a SCISSORS KICK!!!
Starr goes down... beneath ANOTHER kick from Jade!! The Sensei keeps a careful eye on everything. Starr rolls aside an to her feet. Jade comes back at her... and finds her arm hooked into an armwringer.
JR: Their tactics seem straight forward. Jades doing her kicks... and Starr is trying to work on that arm!
Vincer: Stunning women. Especially this Jade.
Atlantra: She has a boring entrance.
The two spin into a collar and elbow tie up. Jade throws up a crescent kick in the middle of it, knocking Starr off balance. She rushes at the Space Ranger and brings up a knee lift to her chest... then tries another!!! But Starr side-steps... and throws a forearm into Jade... then catches her arm and pulls it behind into a hammerlock.
Jade kicks back with her leg, and sweeps Starr off her feet! Starr does a tuck and roll and comes back up. Jade swings a roundhouse kick around and Blaze ducks under it, returning to the hammerlock. Jade pulls free and does a go-behind. Blaze turns... INTO THE ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!! Jade leaps up in the air... KARATE KICK!!! She spins around completely... and hits a CRESCENT KICK!!! Blaze stumbles backwards. Jade leaps up... INSUGORI KICK!!! Starr Blaze looks completely disoriented!!!
Jade goes to the corner and climbs up, facing the fans....
JR: SHE'S GOING FOR THE DRAGON'S CLAW! Can she HIT IT!?
Vincer: Chances are.... she will miss this move!
Jade leaps back for her reverse cross body block...
