RESULTS: Monday Night Raw May 28, 1997

Sting's face is shadowed, somewhere in the back.

Sting: I know I said on Superstars that I'd wait a week to start with my plan, BUT I JUST COULDN'T WAIT!! So call somebody up and don't touch that dial, cause tonight LIVE on Wednesday Raw . . . The Stinger is BACK! OWWWWWWWWWW!

(Raw Theme Plays)

A camera picks up Double J as he rounds the corner backstage with a fire extinguisher. He stops before Ax and Smash of Demolition, who are preparing for their match.

Double J: You know boys, I can't help but notice that you always got smoke following you around. Maybe you need to cool off!

Jarrett sprays the extinguisher, shooting the foam all over Ax! Smash dives out of the way and rushes in at Double J.

Just then FOG rolls in! It surrounds Ax... and in it... a figure is just barely seen! It swings something... WHACK!!! AX GOES DOWN!!!

Smash charges at Jarrett, enraged! Jarrett DROPKICKS HIS LEG OUT FROM UNDER HIM!!! Smash is flattened down on the cold floor!!!

The fog recedes, showing Ax on the ground, covered in foam. Smash is next to him, struggling to get up. Double J turns and leaves.

The Summit in Houston, Texas is going WILD after watching the large video screen and seeing what just took place!! Double J gloves are visible in the sea of people!!! Then... Double J makes his way down the aisle to a LOUD ovation!

Jarrett has his wetted hair back into a pony tail and wears an "Ain't I Great?' t-shirt over a pair of blue jeans and cowboy boots. Jarrett makes his way to the broadcasters table and puts on a headset.

Double J: Ha Ha Ha! Hello, folks!

JR: WELCOME DOUBLE... TO WEDNESDAY NIGHT RAW! What are YOU doing out here?

Double J: Well, this is my final Raw, you know? June 1st is comin' up this Sunday! Then I'm gone! So I figured I'd give everyone a treat by adding the color that ONLY I can here on my last Raw.

Sarah: Double J... what about what we just saw! The attack on Demolition!?

Double J: Hey, I'm just clipping some loose ends around here! They jumped me back at Qualify, and I'm returning the favor!

Heart Attack: Who was that person... in the fog cloud helping you?

Double J: Who are you ... Mean Gene? Never mind who that was! Keep your nose in YOUR business for a change!

JR: Uh-OH! Well... let's get this started! RAW... IS UNDERWAY! Let's get up to the RING!
