RESULTS: Monday Night Raw May 5, 1997

The Match:
Vader's music begins to play as the last segment fades out. He steps through the curtains, looking around. He is led by Jim Cornette who has a bit smile on his face, swinging his tennis raquet over his head.

Jeff Jarrett runs out of the back with a chair... and SLAMS it into the back of Vader's leg!!! Vader drops down and Jeff holds the chair up over his head... and DRIVES it down into the leg! Jim Cornette slips around behind Jarrett... holding up his tennis raquet...

WHACK!!! Double J is knocked down!!!

JR: My GOSH! James E.... getting involved!!!

Vader rises up... but Cornette motions him toward the ring. Double J sees Road Warrior Hawk and Brutus coming up the aisle, motioning for him to leave. He turns... and leaves.

Vader gets into the ring.... howling out! Cornette tries to focus him. JoBo's flute music begins to play and the big 436 pounder comes down the aisle, listening to ZoBo's instructions. They calmly get into the ring.. then ZoBo leaves.

The bell sounds! Vader comes charging in... but JoBo is ready! He clotheslines Vader... KNOCKING HIM DOWN!! The fans in the mall CHEER! Vader tries to get up... but JoBo kicks him back down! Vader punches at JoBo's leg, forcing him back.... and he gets up...

JoBo and Vader run at each other like two big bulls.... DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!!! JoBo feels the effects... and then feels a PUNCH! Vader throws another... and another!!! JoBo's arms go wide... and he falls back like a tree!!! Vader STOMPS him on the way down!!!

Cornette claps his hands, as the Mega Powers continue to patrol ringside, especially wary during this match.

Vader yanks up JoBo... and SHOULDERBLOCKS him back down! Cornette motions to the corner... and Vader backs up to the second rope! ZoBo yells for JoBo to roll aside....

Vader ABDOMINAL SPLASHES HIM!!!! Vader... GOES UP AGAIN!!! VADER BOMB!!!!

JR: IT'S ALL OVER!!! YOU COULD COUNT TO A HUNDRED!!!

Vader hooks the leg... the ref counts... 1... 2... JOBO DRAPES A FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!!!

Heart Attack: Look at THAT, JR! Can you BELIEVE IT!!!?

JR: What ring smarts by the rookie!

Vader sits up angrily... and slams a big hook into JoBo's face!

JR: He's almost out! It was all this kid could do to stop from being pinned!

Vader pulls JoBo's big carcass into the center of the ring, far from the ropes. He splashes down on top of him, like a camel clutch... then rolls him over... hooking BOTH legs.... 1... 2... 3...!!!!

Like a bolt of lightning from the fans... IT'S DOUBLE J!!! He rushes into the ring before the Mega Powers can stop him!!! He has a chair... and he NAILS Vader in the knee with it! Vader drops down... Jarrett. WRAPS ON THE FIGURE FOUR!!!! Vader's in trouble!!!!

Demolition bursts through the curtains and Jim Cornette waves them into the ring!!! Vader is struggling... HE CAN'T GET OUT!!! The Road Warriors, Brutus and the Warrior roll into the ring.... then Demolition slides in...

Double J releases the hold and leaps out of the ring, heading out through the crowd. Vader holds at his knee as Demolition stands at the edge of the ring, looking out at Jarrett. James E is slamming his raquet down on the turnbuckle, and stomping his foot. Vader slowly gets up...

JR: Double J and Vader... this ain't over YET! When will it end.... HOW WILL IT END!!???

Heart Attack: Let's go to a commercial! They've got to get this sorted out!
