RESULTS: Monday Night Raw June 16, 1997

Terry comes in and hits a KNEE drop on Sid's back. Flash Funk starts pounding on the mat, getting the fans behind Sid. Sid starts pounding on the mat himself... getting FIRED UP!!!! THE FANS CHEER!!!

Taylor stands up and STOMPS on Sid... but NO EFFECT!!! Taylor backs away as Sid gets to his feet finally and moves after Taylor... CLOTHESLINE!!! Taylor rolls from the ring and walks around to the Giant's side. He rolls back in...

Sid starts stomps on him as he enters... then pulls him up.... IN THE CHOKESLAM!!!! Terry rolls across the mat and makes a desperate tag to the Giant!!! Sid turns... and tags in a fresh STING!!!

The fans POP!!! Sting leaps over the top rope... and DROPKICKS the Giant on the way in!!! Sting then kicks at the Giant's leg... and KNEE CLIPS IT!!

JR: THE GIANT WON'T GO DOWN!! He's so BIG! So STRONG!!

Piper: SO mis-led!!! Somebody's gotta fill him in... and when Taylor's gone... WHO WILL THAT BE?

Vincer: I tend to think Taylor Tech is too resourceful to lose. Luck is also on their side.

Sting is pulled up by the Giant for a slam... but Sting flips over behind the Giant's back and lands on his feet! Sting reaches up and grabs the Giant by the hair.... bends him back... INTO THE STINGER DEATH DROP!!!!! THE FANS GO CRAZY!!!!

Sting covers.... BUT THERE'S NO COUNT!!!! Susannah Helmsley has the REFEREE TIED UP!!!!!

Piper: ONE... TWO... THREEE.... FOUR.... FIVE...

Terry Taylor enters the ring to attack Sting. Rick Rude throws a CHAIR up to Sid... who charges in with it....... Sting stands up, looking for the referee....

Sid swings the chair and Terry Taylor dives out of the way... SID CRACKS STING WITH THE CHAIR FROM BEHIND!!!

JR: Oh NO!!! AN ACCIDENT!!! He didn't mean to do THAT!!!

Taylor punches Sid in the gut... then axehandles him in the head!!! He then throws the Giant's arm over Sting... and Susannah gets the ref to turn around.

Piper: UH-OH!!

The ref hits the mat... 1... 2... 3....!!!!!!! Taylor rolls out of the ring and celebrates with Susannah!!!

JR: DAMMIT! DAMMIT!! DAMMIT!!!

Sid stands over Sting and helps him up, keeping one hand on his chest and one hand on his back to steady him. Flash rolls into the ring and comes up from behind Sid... and PUSHES HIM AWAY!!!

Flash: LEAVE HIM ALONE, MAN!!!

Sid turns around... and pulls Flash in... AND HITS A POWER-BOMB!!!!

JR: OH NO!!! This is all a MISUNDERSTANDING!!! This is TERRIBLE!!!

Vincer: Just as I thought... it is breaking loose!

Flash rolls over on his side, his body quaking in pain! Rick Rude slides into the ring and gets in Sid's face. They stare at each other for long moments, but then Sid pushes him aside and gets out of the ring. Fans are booing!!!!!

The Giant finally rolls from the ring and he and Taylor walk up the aisle with Susannah, carrying their tag title belts.

Rude glares at Sid... but then helps up Sting. Sting rejects his help, rushing to Flash's aid.

Sting: (shouting to the back) HE NEEDS HELP!!!

Flash looks to be in serious pain!!! He's holding his neck and back.

JR: This all ESCALATED QUICKLY!!! I think Flash... well... Flash thought Sid was ATTACKING Sting. Rumors have said that Sid would SNAP! I think it's all a giant mis-understanding.

Piper: Well... that was our one chance of getting Taylor out of the WWF against his will. I thinks we ALL know who won THAT one!

Vincer: That means that Money Inc.'s NEXT opponents will be the Hart Foundation, provided they heal up from last night's war.

A stretcher is rolled down and Flash is carefully put on it.

JR: Flash Funk just last night said his neck and back were hurt. He then fell victim to THREE Stone Cold Stunners at the end of his match. This could be CAREER ending! I'm sure Sid didn't mean it.

Piper: Ya never can tell! I've know that Sid for a LONG time. He's a WILD ONE!

The Warrior and Brutus help to carry Flash from the ring. Rude assists Sting, who holds his back a bit in pain from the chair shot.

JR: These folks are in SHOCK here! So much happened... so QUICKLY! I'll try to file a report for TNT on it.

Piper: Yeah... you do that, JR.

Vincer: It has been yet another eventful night in the World Wrestling Federation. I feel as thought I have learned a LOT here about the intricasies of the sport.

Piper: You'll learn a LOT just watchin' Taylor Tech. They break the rules faster then I can CHANGE 'EM!

JR: Well folks... we're outta time! It's been a WILD ONE and a CONFUSING one! Flash Funk may be seriously hurt. We know Mr. Flawless will be out.... yes... he'll be out for OVER A MONTH from WWF action! Fans, I'm Jim Ross... along with Vincer Kaden... and of course, our esteemed President Rowdy Roddy Piper.
