Shawn comes up with an armlock on Neidhart, driving his elbow into an exposed shoulder. Shawn pulls Neidhart to his feet... and makes the tag to Diesel, who steps over the ropes....
And starts CHOPPING at Neidhart!!! Diesel SHOULDERBLOCKS him down. He then hoists him up... BIG SLAM!! Diesel continues... with an ATOMIC DROP!!!
Neidhart fires back with a CHOP.. then a quick tag to the Hitman. The Anvil tries to pull up Diesel as Bret goes to the top...
Diesel pushes the Anvil out of the way. Bret leaps off. Diesel looks up to counter...
Bret CLOTHESLINES HIM DOWN TO HIS KNEES!! The Hitman pulls in front of him... DROP DDT!!! Bret is RAGING!! He stomps on Diesel's leg as he stands. Diesel pulls himself up.
Bret moves at the leg and Diesel leans over to counter. Bret instead puts his head up under Diesel's jaw... holds the head..... JAWBREAKER!!
JR: What a nice move! Bret will lull you in... then WHAM!
Heart Attack: Corey has learned a LOT from him!
Diesel is holding at his jaw as Bret pulls him in... and hits THE STONE COLD STUNNER!!! Bret pulls Diesel up.... SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! He then grabs both of Diesel's legs.... and GOES FOR THE SHARPSHOOTER...
Diesel BLASTS him off with his powerful legs. Big Daddy recovers quickly and goes on an offensive!! He yanks up Bret... INTO A SIDE SUPLEX, driving his 300 pounds onto Bret's body. He then turns him up and over.... into a BACKBREAKER across the knee!!!
Diesel then gets up and starts making his way toward Shawn for a tag. Bret grabs one of Diesel's legs and prevents this! Diesel turns... and is off balance... HE FALLS TO THE MAT!! Bret grabs the leg and comes up into a STEP-OVER TOE HOLD!!
JR: Diesel got his second wind... but he DESPERATELY needs to make a tag!!! His power could get him out of THIS though!
Bret keeps the Figure Four on... until he feels Diesel turning it over. The Hitman quickly releases it... gets up... AND GOES FOR THE SHARPSHOOTER!!
Again Diesel kicks Bret off.
Heart Attack: I don't think Bret can get the Sharpshooter on.
JR: He's done it to BIGGER men.... but Diesel seems to know how to counter it!
Big Daddy Cool rolls across the mat... and tags in Shawn as Bret gets his bearings. He looks up and sees Shawn charging at him.... SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!! Shawn lands on top of Bret for the cover.... one... two...
NO! Bret pops out and comes up on top of Shawn with an armlock.
JR: Too soon! Shawn's move is lethal... but it needs set-ups, just like in baseball.
Bret keeps the armlock on as he tags in the Anvil. Neidhart charges in full force... and SHOULDERBLOCKS Michaels down to the mat. Jim then lifts him up... INTO A GORILLA PRESS SLAM!!!
Michaels is then sent for the ride... POWERSLAM!! The fans start getting behind the Anvil! Neidhart pulls him up into a FULL NELSON! Shawn's arms go straight up... and he slips straight down!
Neidhart leans over... and Shawn throws up a FOREARM into his face, knocking him back. Shawn does a tuck and roll... and tags in DIESEL!!!
The fans erupt for Diesel as he steps in over the top rope.... pulls Neidhart in.... AND HITS THE JACK-KNIFE!! Diesel covers the Anvil.... the ref hits the mat... one... two... NEIDHART GETS A FOOT ON THE ROPES!! THE FANS CHEER!!!
Both wrestlers get up to their feet, fatigue starting to set in. The Anvil brings up a kick to gain the advantage... but fails at locking in a full nelson on the big man. Diesel throws a chop... but it is BLOCKED!! Diesel instead... HITS AN ATOMIC DROP!!!
The Anvil bounces up in the air from the force.... into Diesel's arms... BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!! The Anvil's fans are chanting for him loudly!! Diesel slowly gets up... but the Anvil.... GETS HIS SECOND WIND!!!
Diesel starts hammering down on the Anvil....BUT NO EFFECT!! Neidhart just laughs maniacally, stroking at his goatee! He gets up to his feet... where he PRESS SLAMS BIG DADDY COOL!!! THE PLACE POPS!!!
Diesel is sent for the ride.... into a POWERSLAM!!! The Anvil stands over Diesel and starts AXEHANDLING HIM DOWN. Diesel GOES DOWN!!! Neidhart pulls him in... AND PILEDRIVES HIM!!! THE FANS ARE BALLISTIC!!!
Neidhart charges at Diesel....and slams down AN AXEHANDLE into Big Daddy's chest!! Diesel's fans start rallying behind HIM! DIESEL! DIESEL! DIESEL!!
Diesel rises up slightly... enough to PUNCH the Anvil in the face, ending his rally. Diesel scrambles to his feet, now feeling the energy of HIS fans! He charges at the Anvil...and they collide....
JR: Like two big bulls....
AND THE ANVIL IS KNOCKED BACK INTO THE ROPES!! Shawn and Bret each have their arms outstretched, ready for the tag. Diesel and Neidhart set again... and rush in at each other like LINEBACKERS.....but Diesel stops and stands up.... Neidhart charges in head-first... Diesel snatches him up.... INTO THE JACK-KNIFE..... THE FANS GO ABSOLUTELY DEAFENING!!!
JR: A SECOND JACK-KNIFE!! I'M LOSING MY VOICE!!!
Heart Attack: What a MATCH!!
Diesel goes for the lateral press. One... two... THE ANVIL BLASTS FREE!! Neidhart POWERS OUT!!!! The chant goes out... ANVIL! ANVIL! ANVIL! Diesel blasts a chop down into Neidhart... and COVERS AGAIN... HOOKING BOTH LEGS!!
The ref is right there... 1... 2.... NO! The Anvil pushes Diesel off!!! Big Daddy starts to get up, rethinking his attack. Neidhart... BLASTS HIM IN THE FACE WITH A PUNCH!! Diesel drops back down...
The Anvil gets away from him... and DIVES at Bret... AND MAKES THE TAG!! Diesel is reaching for Shawn to make a tag... but Bret pulls him by the legs back to the middle of the ring.
He wraps the legs up.... INTO THE SHARPSHOOTER!!!! THE PLACE IS NUTS!!
JR: HE DID IT!! HE DID IT!! THE SHARPSHOOTER!!
Heart Attack: Did he GIVE UP!?!?!
The referee gets into position. Diesel's head is shaking around.... up... left.... around. Bret leans back as hard as he can. The referee checks Diesel. He's shaking his head.... YES! YES!! IT'S OVER!!
Bret releases the hold as the Hart Foundation's music begins to play. Pink and white fireworks blast over the ring! Both Bret and Neidhart shake Shawn and Diesel's hands, then they leap from the ring and head out.
Shawn and Diesel regroup in their corner, looking dissapointed, but they gladly shake the Hart Foundation's hands before leaving the ring to meet Sensei and Sarah outside. They slap a few hands, and huddle with Sarah and Sensei for a moment, and then the walk out, Sensei and Diesel hanging back a bit talking strategy, while Shawn and Sarah walk a few feet ahead, Shawn's arm around Sarah's shoulders as she helps him back to the locker rooms, talking between each other.
JR: Well, Heart Attack... it's been a HELLUVA night! What a MATCH that was!
Heart Attack: It certainly was exciting! I thought it was over more then FOUR OR FIVE TIMES!!
JR: The Hart Foundation have their momentum back... and are headed in for MONEY INCORPORATED this coming week... and MAYBE the World Tag Team Titles for a FOURTH time!! Folks... we'll see you on Raw this coming Monday... GOOD NIGHT AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!
