RESULTS: Monday Night Raw June 23, 1997

WILD CHYLDE DIBIASE

Wild Chylde DiBiase heads down to the ring in her wrestling attire. She climbs in to the ring and quiets her fans with a hand.

Wild Chylde: Everyone... please welcome... THE SLICKSTER!!!

Slick comes out in a bright blue suit and matching hat. He smiles at the fans, nodding his head at them. Then he struts to the ring on his cane. Wild Chylde holds the ropes open for him and pats him on the shoulder.

Wild Chylde: Slick, I need to ask a special favor of you.

Slick: Ask... and ye shall RECEIVE, Sistah Wild Chylde!

Wild Chylde: I'd like you to be the minister at Corey's and my wedding, Brother Slick.

Slick: Nothing would make me happier than to wed you and Corey on this most special of days!

Wild Chylde: I knew I could count on you Slick.

She grins and holds the ropes open for him again, and they head up the runway, slapping hands with the fans.

KING'S COURT

King: Welcome, everyone, to yet ANOTHER very, very special edition of the King's Court here tonight! You know, I could go on now about how I DESTROYED the Blizzard on TNT ... but I won't! Because my guest is just THAT important! And I don't want to waste anymore of your time ... so let's get him on out here!

King: Parents, go wake up your kids ... grandma, slap grandpa awake and get his false teeth in! Ladies and Gentlemen ... this is such an HONOR! I give to you ... Nashville's favorite son!

The crowd murmurs and rises up.

King: That's RIGHT!! You heard me!! Direct from Hollywood, California ... here he is!! DOUBLE J!!!

The crowd bursts into cheers as Double J's country theme starts up! The fans all look towards the curtains ... and Double J steps out! The arena EXPLODES!

Jarrett makes his way up the aisle, wearing normal street clothes, and slapping hands with the fans. He climbs up into the ring, where The King steps aisde.

King: ZOOM IN! Right here!

Double J looks from side to side, and then does his strut down center ring! The crowd cheers as Jarrett raises his arms up, causing the white fireworks to explode overhead. Double J moves over towards the King, shaking his hand.

King: Double J ... it's GREAT to have you back here on the King's Court! Now ... just WHAT are you doing here on Raw this week?!

Double J: Ha Ha Ha! HELLO, FOLKS!

The crowd cheers!

Double J: It's great to be here, King! Everything's going fine out in Hollywood. I've got everything going good ...

King: Yeah, but why are you HERE?!

Double J: Well, King, out in Hollywood ... there's a rumor floating around about tonight's Raw! Can you confirm it for me?

King: What are they saying?!

Double J: What's bein' said is that here tonight on Raw, there's gonna be a CAREER MATCH!

King: That's TRUE!

Double J: AND ... I hear that match is gonna be ol' Scott Hall against Derrick Stardom.

King: TRUE again!

Double J: King, I just HAD to come and see this one! Everybody knows that me and Scott Hall are close friends.

King: Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Double J: And I wanna be here to watch his career go down the tubes! Actually, I wouldn't mind doin' it MYSELF, but I guess we can let Stardom do it.

King: That's great, Double J! So you're here to watch the match?

Double J: You got it, King! I'm not sure the people know what this means, though. Can you imagine a WWF WITHOUT Razor?! No more chico! No more mang! No more carving up, King!

King: It'd be different! Maybe BETTER!

Double J: It'd be a shock at first! TOO MANY things are changin' here in the WWF while I'm gone! I couldn't let something of THIS mangnitude go down without me bein' here to see it ... mang! Ha Ha Ha!

King: Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! I know what you mean, chico!

Double J: Derrick Stardom ... you've got the chance to do a GREAT justice here tonight. And that's ridding the WWF of Razor ... Scott Hall ... WHOEVER! Don't blow the opportunity! But if you do ... come on back to Hollywood! I could always use a cheu ... a show ... a DRIVER! Ha Ha Ha!

King: Ha Ha Ha Ha! Did you see how he treated me earlier?

Double J: It was disgraceful, King!

King: I hope they BOTH lose! OK, Double J, thanks for being out here this week!

Double J: It was MY pleasure, King! I'm takin' my seats now ... the Road Dawg has got the area ready! So long, folks!

Double J's music starts up once more, as he and the King talk in the ring. Jarrett climbs out of the ring and moves to the railing, where the Roadie is bent over cleaning up their seats. Jarrett climbs over the railing and takes a seat, as does the Roadie.
