Ahmed Johnson walks down the aisle as "Pearl River Powerhouse" plays over the PA. He throws his 2-x-4 over the top rope and climbs in. Jim Ross is waiting on him.
Jim Ross: Ahmed, you have a HUGE announcment for us. What is it?!
Ahmed: Well JR, at King of the Ring, the Pearl River Powerhouse will take on not one, not two, BUT THREE of the WCW's top contenders. I'm going to RUN THE GAUNTLET you could say. Why is Ahmed Johnson going to fight them at King of the Ring you ask?! SIMPLE! If I win, I will be able to come to the WWF with my WCW World's Heavyweight Title Belt. I want it to be on WWF soil.
JR: What do you think of Ted DiBiase's appearances at WWF events?
Ahmed: Well JR. I think everyone knows what I think of Ted DiBiase. That goes the same for his appearances here in the World Wrestling Federation. Corey, Chylde, if the problems with Ted ever get to tough for ya, call on ol' Ahmed, he'll come rushing in with a 2-x-4 with the Million Dollar Man's name on it.
JR: At King of the Ring, your rivalry with Faarooq Assad will be extinguished. How do you feel about that?
Ahmed: Oh my rivalry with that punk will never be extinguished. He'll continue to invaid my dreams but the time he steps out of my dreams and into my face, that's when the fire will blaze like never before.
JR: Ahmed, thanks for being on the show.
Ahmed: Thanks for havin me, JR.
JESSE VENTURA REPORTING....
Jesse Ventura stands in front of the camera. He looks worried as he paces back and forth. Suddenly he stops and looks into the camera.
Jesse: A few hours ago I heard from Dr. Mesmer, the Road Warriors' doctor. I told him to have me called when anything serious happened, for better or worse. Well, he called a few hours ago. Let's see what is going on...
Jesse goes down a hallway and then enters a room. The wall are covered with get well signs in bright colors. The Road Warriors, looking pale in comparison, lie on white beds, side by side. There are machines by both of them. Each has various tubes going into their bodies. Doctor Mesmer stands in front of Animal writing something on a clipboard. He turns when he sees Jesse.
Jesse: You called me Dr. Mesmer...
Dr. Mesmer: Yes, I did. Animal went through lung surgery and he did quite well. I performed the surgery myself and I am comfortably certain that everything will be fine... with Animal.
Jesse: What is that supposed to mean? How is Hawk?
Dr. Mesmer: Hawk has not regained conciousness for three days. I am becoming increasingly worried about him.
Jesse: Can you tell what is wrong?
Dr. Mesmer: No I am afraid not. The only thing I can say is that the concussion was far more serious than I first thought.
Jesse: Did he say anything in his last moment of conciousness?
Dr. Mesmer: He kept calling out the same word.
Jesse: Well!!! What was it?!
Dr. Mesmer: Shadow...
Jesse: That would be their manager.
Dr. Mesmer: Yes, I know... I have been watching past WWF tapes as of late. These two men are incredible!!! They have done things I would have thought possible.
Jesse: Yes, they are one the best tag teams in the WWF. So are they going to make it?
Dr. Mesmer: Well, Animal seems to be out of the worst of it. His lungs have been repaired and he will be able to breath on his own quit soon. Hawk will be getting an MRI soon. After that we will know what to do.
Jesse: Thank-You for the update. Remember to call whenever you find something out...
Dr. Mesmer: Yes, of corse. And please keep sending in that fan mail.
Jesse: This is Jesse Ventura siging off.
JR: Well... we wish BOTH members of the LOD... ALL the best! And you can bet that if they DO return to action...the Horsemen WILL PAY!!
