Sting rolls to his side, clutching at his back. Fatu doesn't let up! He turns Sting back to his stomach... and throws him into the CAMEL CLUTCH!! Fatu sits back far with it. The ref checks on Sting... but he refuses to give up! Fatu yanks back for a LONG time... but the Stinger just won't quit!
Fatu releases the hold... and CHOPS Sting in the lower back... then tags in Savio! Savio throws a fist into the air and tries to get the fans into it! They respond to him. He grabs Sting and throws him to the ropes... CRESCENT KICK.... then a LEGWHEEL!! Then a kick... STING CATCHES THE FOOT....
Savio leaps up with the other...INSUGORI KICK!!! Sting is flipped head over heels down to the mat. Savio CHOPS him across the face, rolling him back.
Savio waits for Sting to stand... then he rushes in and BACK FIST STRIKES HIM!!! Sting stumbles a bit... then is LEG SWEPT DOWN!!! Savio's fans start rallying behind him!!!
JR: I can't believe what I'm seeing! Maybe there IS a curse on the Horsemen teams!!
Pillman: I could have TOLD you this would happen!
Savio is FIRED UP!!! Sting's allies pound the mat and cheer for him as S.B. and Muta continue to look on. Savio pulls up Sting and ROUNDHOUSE KICKS HIM! Then he whips him hard to the corner.... Sting hits hard and bounces back into another ROUNDHOUSE KICK... then a CRESCENT KICK!!
Savio throws up the 'hang loose' sign in the air. Then he throws Sting to the ropes... and hits a JUMPING SPIN KICK!! Sting goes down!! Savio lands on top of him and covers... ONE .... TWO... THREE!!!!
JR: HE GOT HIM!! WHAT AN UPSET!!!
Heart Attack: Did they just WIN?!
Pillman: I think they DID! Check the replay!
Savio and Fatu leap from the ring, holding their arms up and smiling! They slap the hands with the fans and dance up the aisle. S.B. greets then and shakes their hands before leaving himself.
Sting gets up, looking disappointed. Starr comforts him and they head out. They stop for a few autographs and handshakes before they disappear.
JR: Well, it's been a long time since Sting and the Warrior have teamed. Over SEVEN MONTHS. A lot has changed in the tag division since then.
Pillman: You can say that again! Fatu and Savio NEVER won matches before! I think Starr should check SAVIO'S boot! Maybe he visits the same chiropractor that the Corporate Machine does.
JR: Give Savio and Fatu credit! They're one of the longest standing teams here in the WWF... only the LOD have teamed together longer for one straight period!
Heart Attack: But STILL! That was an upset!
JR: Sting was over-whelmed, they didn't make frequent tags, the Warrior was fresh as a daisy, but on the apron. Sting got caught... Savio and Fatu made fluent tags and they won! Ring rust on the Bladerunners perhaps... but give credit where it's due. That's #2 for the under-dogs!
