RESULTS: Monday Night Raw July 28, 1997

MR. PERFECT

Mr.Perfect is on a treadmill running. Madusa stands beside him.

Madusa: Come on! Faster! You have to push yourself harder!

Mr.Perfect stops running and slides off the machine. He takes a a towel and wipes off his forehead.

Mr.Perfect: Let's take a break for a bit. There are a few things we need to talk about.

Madusa: Like you match against Sting?

Mr.Perfect: Sting just got the upper THAT time. I won our last match, if you will recall.

Madusa: The LAST time doesn't matter! Only this time does.

Mr.Perfect: I know, I know. I'll go after him again soon, but I guess we will have to wait to he is better. When we face each other again I want to be sure he is at the top of his game so that everyone will really know who the Perfect one is. (he smiles)

Madusa: Fine. But for now you are going to have top pick a belt to go after.

Mr.Perfect: Well, Corey is sort of an ally, so I guess it will have to be either the TV Title or the Big One.

Madusa: So which is it?

Mr.Perfect: Do you even need to ask? The Perfect man needs the Perfect Belt. I want the World Title!

Madusa: Good! Take on Jobo and you will be on your way!

Mr.Perfect: A big man... No problem. Jobo falls and I am one step closer! Pillman can start counting down the days.

Madusa: Let's get back to work.

The camera fades out.

ROWDY RODDY PIPER'S OFFICE

Jim Cornette is seen up in President Piper's temporary office in the arena. Ax and Smash are on either side of him. He's waving his arms around and talking frantically... something about interference... and it's not fair....

Piper nods along listening... clearly wanting only to be rid of Cornette. Piper motions for Cornette to settle down.... then sees the camera and waves it away. The camera shuts off.

OWEN HART AND THE BRITISH BULLDOG

"The Rocket"Owen Hart:"Great match on WWF Superstar,on Saturday Night,Dudes with Attitudes!You gave us a very good fight,and at sometime's during the match it looked like you were going to give us our first loss in a longtime,but no way my friend's we weren't going to let that happen,dudes,and it didn's happen!However we must admit you both are very good wrestlers,but you still need quite a bit more training for the tag team division!Now onto the next piece of business!Not this week,but the next week on Monday Night Raw,we're putting our big winning streak up against The Pearl River Power's of Ahmed Johnson,and Rocky Maivia!Ahmed,and Rocky,you both are very good wrestler's,and your up and coming wrestler's,but we aren't going to let you give us our first loss in a long time,so we will put up a good fight,maybe even our best fight,and we'll walk out victorious,on Monday Night Raw,against you two!Pearl River Power's,your going down,next week,on Monday Night Raw!Whoooo!"

"The British Bulldog"Davey Boy Smith:(British Accent)"That's right Owen!The Dudes with Attitudes,"Big Daddy Cool"Diesel,and "The Heartbreak kid"Shawn Michaels,you gave us a great fight on WWF Superstars,on Saturday Night,maybe even our best as of late,but we weren't going to let you break our big winning streak,and you didn't,because we came out on top!"Big Daddy Cool"Diesel,holy cow,you gave me a great fight,when I had you in the camel clutch,and you didn't submit,but you see BDC,I knew you had to give up sometime,so I just put all of my strength into the clutch,and you finall gave up,which me and Owen were so happy about,because we thought you wouldn't submit,but you did after all!Dudes with Attitudes,have a bit more practice,and somewhere down the line,we'll give you another shot at us!Now onto the other piece of business!Monday Night Raw,next week,me and Owen are taking on The Pearl River Power's of Ahmed Johnson,one big dude,I must admit,and Rocky Maivia,an up and coming wrestler!Both teams are putting their win streaks on the line in this match,and the loser's of the match,will have their first loss in the longest time!Pearl River Powers,Ahmed Johnson,and Rocky Maivia,me,and Owen have alot of respect for you,and your both great wrestler's,but you see your not going to break our big win streak,so we're going to beat you guys,and bigtime,and we're going to give you two your first loss in The WWF,as a tag team!Pearl River Powers,your going down bigtime!Oh yeah,and we're now searching for a manager,so we're now listening to some offers,just get in touch with us,if you do have an offer!"(The British Bulldog flexe's his muscles)
