BLADERUNNERS PRE MATCH COMMENTS

The Bladerunners, Rick Rude, Brutus Beefcake, and Bobby Heenan are seen in the locker rooms. The Warrior talks with Brutus Beefcake, getting himself psyched! Sting sits on the bench with a towel over his shoulders, as Bobby Heenan goes over last minute strategy with him. Rick Rude stands in the foreground.

Rude: Michaels, Diesel ... we're not looking for anything but a nice, wholesome, tag team match from you here tonight. But rumor has it that you may have a few things planned. Some friends of yours seem to have had a rough time off, and we hope the same isn't true for you.

Rude: But if it IS ... rest assured that my boys here are ready. In fact, we kinda hope you DO wanna throw down. Guys ... let's go.

Warrior: RAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!

The Match:
Shawn and Diesel come through the curtains to 'Bad Company', fireworks going off above the entranceway. Shawn dances down and Diesel follows, slapping hands. They get into the ring and toss their sunglasses out... then the camera picks up the Sensei at ringside, though no one seems to have seen him come out.

Pillman: How does he F'N DO that?

The Warrior's music starts pumping through the arena, as the Bladerunners come through the curtains! The Warrior charges at full speed down the aisle, smacking the fans hands as he goes! Sting comes out at a regular pace and slaps hands, as well. Both men wear purple and yellow paint and tights.

Rude, Brutus, Starr Blaze and Bobby Heenan follow them out. The Warrior leaps into the ring and climbs to the middle rope, raising his arms and calling for the Press Slam! The crowd cheers!! Sting climbs in and throws off his jacket, looking focused! The Warrior drops down as Sting stretches his back out on the ropes.

The two men slap a high five, and Bobby Heenan whispers some last minute strategy to them.

JR: At the risk of sounding NEGATIVE... neither one of these teams have set the world on fire as of late. The Warrior and Sting picked up right where they left off last year, and Shawn and Diesel are looking for their first big win as a team.

Pillman: Did you just call them PATHETIC?

JR: NO, Brian! I'm calling it as I SEE IT!

Shawn and the Warrior start out. They lock into a collar and elbow tie up, from which Michaels takes an armwringer around and smashes his elbow on it. The Warrior sucks it up and kicks Shawn in the midsection, knocking him clear off. Then he rushes and hits two HUGE kneelifts that elevate HBK... UP INTO A BODYSLAM!!

The Warrior runs around Michaels, getting fired up! Shawn slowly gets up on the defensive... and is turned over into a SCOOP SIDE SUPLEX!! The Warrior pounds his chest and backs up... waiting on Shawn to stand.... SHOULDERBLOCK..... THEN ANOTHER... AND ANOTHER!!!

The Warrior pulls Shawn to the Bladerunners half of the ring and plants him down before making the exchange to Sting.

JR: This may be the last time we see Sting in a while. He'll fulfill this contract, then take it easy, like we heard on Superstars... he has an injured back.

Pillman: I blame Sid.

Sting comes in and looks strong. He dives on top of Michaels with some rights and lefts to the face... then he stands... ELBOWDROP to the back! Then a KNEEDROP! Shawn grasps at his lower back and reaches desperately out for Diesel. Sting gets down and clamps on a camel clutch, yanking back hard, further aggravating the back of HBK.

But Shawn doesn't submit. Sting releases it and stands... waiting on Michaels... then he hits an ARMDRAG TAKEDOWN!!! NO! Michaels flips over with it and lands on his feet... then hits a KARATE KICK!!! Sting's arms flail out, and Michaels grabs one and pulls him to Diesel's corner for the tag.

Big Daddy Cool steps in over the top rope and Michaels holds the arm out, exposed... for a BDC ELBOWSMASH!!! Sting pulls his arm in quickly as Michaels releases and gets to his corner. Diesel scoops up Sting.... for a BODYSLAM!!!

JR: Right on the injured back! Diesel has done his homework!

Favoring his back, Sting dives out of Diesel's grasp and tags in the Warrior. The Warrior rushes in and the two big power men of the match face off. The Warrior rushes up at Diesel and KNEESMASHES him in the sternum... then drops down and SHOULDERBLOCKS Diesel through his leg.... Diesel LIFTS his leg up, countering the move...

The Warrior comes up behind Diesel... who turns... and CLOTHESLINES the Warrior back. Diesel pulls him up... ATOMIC DROP!!! The Warrior spins around from the impact... and the former champion catches him and SIDE SUPLEXES HIM DOWN!!!

Heart Attack: Diesel is on a roll now! Will the DWA get their first win?

Pillman: Doubtful. They HARDLY have... 'attitude'. Leader of the New Generation? Try New REVOLUTION right here!

Diesel hooks the Warrior... grabs him on the side... and hits a 7' VERTICAL SUPLEX!!! The ring quakes from the impact and Diesel pops up, looking confident. Michaels and Sting catch their breath on the apron.

Big Daddy stands over the Warrior... helps him up... into a BACKBREAKER across the knee!! Diesel drops him down to the canvas, and comes up with one of his legs... and CRANKS on it with a hamstring pull. He keeps the leg held as he reaches out with his long arm... and tags in Michaels!

Shawn leaps up over the ropes into the ring and stands as Diesel gets out. The Warrior slowly gets to his feet... looks up.... SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!! The Warrior staggers back... BUT DOESN'T GO DOWN!!! THE FANS CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!

JR: I CAN'T believe it!!!

Shawn brings up ANOTHER KICK... but the Warrior swats the leg away... scoops Shawn... and BODYSLAMS him down. Then LEGDROPS him!! The Warrior tags in Sting who goes right back to work on Shawn's softened back. He SNAP SUPLEXES HIM... then pulls him up into a BACKBREAKER!!!

Sting then pulls Shawn up around the waist... and POWERBOMBS HIM!!! Sting tags in the Warrior who comes in like a BALL OF FIRE!!! THE FANS POUND THEIR FEET!!!

JR: Now THIS is promising! Fluent tags... high impact moves. Pick a body part and stay on it!!!

Shawn is sent for the ride... into a POWERSLAM!!! Michaels looks REALLY hurting now! Diesel's arm is out-stretched for the tag. The Sensei pounds the canvas, getting the DWA fans into the match.

The Warrior waits behind Shawn... then SIDE SUPLEXES HIM!! The Warrior snatches him up quickly this time... and hits his OWN powerbomb!!! Shawn's body folds up and his legs flip him over. The Warrior grabs him up to his feet... SPINEBUSTER!!

Shawn looks completely spent. He blindly reaches out for a tag, hardly knowing where he is at... he is DEEP into the Bladerunners corner. The Warrior tags Sting... then BEAR HUGS Shawn. Sting comes up behind Michaels... grabs him by the head... the Warrior lets go.... Sting hits the SCORPION DEATH DROP!!! He covers... ONE.. TWO.. THREE!!!!!

JR: Textbook tag team match by the Bladerunners! At the end, they turned it into TWO on one... and that nearly ASSURES the victory!

Pillman: Ass-kisser!

The Warrior's music plays as the Bladerunners allies climb up into the ring to celebrate.

Heart Attack: I guess this whole Sarah D. kidnapping has the DWA off their game.

Pillman: Diesel did fine... it seemed to me that MICHAELS was the weak link.

JR: Diesel and Shawn, I have to agree, DO need to get a bit of that attitude to be successful. I think you're RIGHT, Brian. But getting Sarah D. back could be a big help as well. Someone is on the case... let's go to that segment now...
