THE COUNTDOWN TO WRESTLEMANIA IV


FROM THE TORONTO SKYDOME IN TORONTO, CANADA - MARCH 1ST 1997

The camera soars over the SkyDome's crowd and comes to a stop beneath the ring... where a contraption is being lowered into place. It appears as if they are rigging up.... THE TAR AND FEATHER MACHINE! The lower of the next match will be TARRED AND FEATHERED! The scene fades to the back.

(Todd Pettingill is in the interview area. The fans watch on the big screen.)

Todd Pettingill:"Ladies,and Gentlemen,at this time please welcome the teams who will be fighting The WWF World Tag Team Champions,Harlem Heat,tonight in a Non-Title Match,but it is a very strange match otherwise!It is a Tar and Feather Match,where the loser gets dumped in you guessed it!Tar and Feather!Please welcome accompanied by Clarence Mason,"The Slammy Award Winning"Owen Hart,and The British Bulldog!"(Boos)

(Clarence Mason accompanies both wrestlers to the area."The Slammy Award Winning"Owen Hart is carrying his Slammy Award,and showing it off and The British Bulldog is showing off his muscles.They all get in the ring)

Todd Pettingill:"Tonight Owen Hart and The British Bulldog,you fight Harlem Heat,in a Tar and Feather Match,how do you feel about this?"

"The Slammy Award Winning"Owen Hart:"We feel great about this,because now tonight we get to get revenge for everything they have done to us,in our matches!Harlem Heat,after tonight's match,you are going to get covered in Tar and Feather's,because we aren't losing!"

Todd Pettingill:"Also,if you guys win,tonight at The Countdown to Wrestlemania,you are likely to be given a title shot,at Harlem Heat's WWF World Tag Team Belts,what do you feel about this?"

The British Bulldog:(British Accent)"That's right,Pettingill!If we win tonight,we should be given a title shot,and if we don't get one,Clarence Mason is going to sue Harlem Heat,for everything they got!Harlem Heat,after we beat you tonight,we get a title shot,and then after that match,we will be crowned The New World Wrestling Federation World Tag Team Champions!"

Clarence Mason:"Harlem Heat,tonight you are going to fall to Owen Hart and The British Bulldog,and then my guys should get a title shot!When they do,and after that match,they will be crowned The New WWF World Tag Team Champions!Oh yeah,and Harlem Heat if Owen and The Bulldog don't get their title shot,and I am going to take legal action!Hahahahaha!"

("The Slammy Award Winning"Owen Hart,shows off his Slammy Award,as they leave,and The British Bulldog shows off his muscles.)

Todd Pettingill:"Ladies,and Gentlemen,Owen Hart and The British Bulldog!"(Boos)

(The camera cuts to the locker room to pick up the Harlem Heat.)

The Heat's locker room door opens up and Booker T and Stevie Ray come out... AND GET SPRAYED!!! It's the Road Warriors and Jim Neidhart! They have two FIREHOSES and are spraying the Heat in the face! The Heat are knocked over from the blast down to the ground.

Neidhart tosses down the hose and lunges at the Heat with brass knuckles! He slams a couple of shots into their faces then moves back with a wild look on his face next to the Road Warriors. Other Empire members come running in... including two MASKED MEN!?

The Heat get up, cursing up a storm and soaking wet. Gilbert arrives and holds them back. The Road Warriors and the Anvil move away as the Empire once againt must get themselves together.

Emperor: (to the Heat) There will be a time. WrestleMania... on the scaffold! Revenge! And Giant... this Monday on Raw... the Anvil is yours! And Hitman.... you've got a 'DATE' with Booker T again! Remember what happened LAST TIME?! Let's get to the ring. We'll be on Neidhart's family members. That will be close enough!

They head toward the ring....
