Live from the RPI Fieldhouse in Troy, New York
February 28th, 1997
The camera opens up on the parking lot, behind the RPI Fieldhouse. The Giant, Todd Pettingill, Terry Taylor and Doom are coming from their cars and are heading into the building.
The camera picks up someone following them. It's the Anvil, Jim Neidhart! He pulls a grocery bag from his truck. He keeps a safe distance back from them... and trails them inside....
The Giant and his crew enter their locker room. Moments later, the Anvil comes up, outside their closed door. He sets the bag down and pulls out.... OIL?! The Anvil starts dumping oil outside of the locker room door.... ! Then, Hawk and Animal come up the aisle...and THEY have oil! The floor is saturated with the slippery liquid. The three back away... and wait....
(FOX SPORTS theme plays.)
(Jim Ross and Terry Bradshaw are in the Fox Control Center.)
Jim Ross: Hello wrestling fans, WELCOME to FRIDAY NIGHT FOX! This is a speical LIVE event that will kickoff the Countdown tomorrow night on NBC!
Bradshaw: And you can't have a sporting event on FOX without ME!
Jim Ross: Terry, we're glad to have you! I know you KNOW your football, but can you hold your own doing the color commentary for Wrestling?
Bradshaw: You betcha, JR.
Jim Ross: Terry, first thing. How would you like to have an offensive line that looks like the Giant and DOOM!
Bradshaw: These guys are HUGE! The Giant alone is an offensive line!
Jim Ross: Well, the Giant is about to leave the locker room area. Let's pick that up... then we'll hear what he has so say.
The Giant and his crew leave the locker room into the hall. Todd stops at the last second, pointing down at the oil! Everyone looks down, suprised.... and the Road Warriors and the Anvil STRIKE!!!!
The Anvil swings a metal bat on the Giant's legs....and the Giant loses his balance in the oil and crashes down on the floor! Hawk and Animal lay into the Giant with solid fists. The Road Warriors have crampon spikes on the bottom of their boots to keep them up in the oil. The Anvil is barefoot, helping with traction.
Hawk and Animal stomp on the prone Giant as everyone else collects themselves. Doom 1 slides forward carefully... and CLOTHESLINES Hawk! Terry Taylor, bracing himself against the wall, slips out of the way of a punch from the Anvil! Taylor slips down to his knees.. but brings up a European Uppercut that lands right on Neidhart's goatee!
Hawk pushes Doom 1 back.... and he goes head over heels through the slippery oil. Hawk and Animal continue to stomp and kick the Giant, who is having a difficult time getting to his feet. Todd is yelling for help, standing back in the locker room.
Doom starts to regroup as Hawk and Animal put two final stomps down on the Giant's head, breaking him open a bit. Animal backs up and grabs the camera.
Animal: You attack on of the Mega-Powers, you attack all of the Mega-Powers!!! You signed your own death warrant Giant!!!
The Mega Powers leave Todd's team to collect themselves and head out to the Interview stand.....
