... HEARTBREAK KID SHAWN MICHAELS!!!!

Shawn Michaels comes out from behind the curtains, and poses for the fans! His music comes up on the speakers, and he works his way down to ringside, slapping hands, and getting the crowd worked up! When he reaches ringside, he walks over to the announcer's table, and high-fives Jim Ross, then jumps into the ring.

Bam Bam: Prez... what about it?

Piper: When Shawn got hurt by Harlem Heat, I didn't suspend them or fine them. That didn't stop them before. So I decided to wisen 'em up. It worked on Booker.... so it would work on Stevie. I put his back-jumpin' self in against the WARRIOR! But who'da thought that Stevie would actually MAKE IT HERE tonight? Well that didn't sit well with me. So's I'm makin' it up to Shawn Michaels now. IT'S DONE!

Bam Bam: The winner of this match WILL face JoBo in the Quarter-Final Round. May the better man WIN!

Terry Taylor frantically pulls out his cell phone as Bam Bam gets out of the ring and goes back to the table. Terry talks frantically on the phone as Piper glares at him for a moment, then climbs out and heads backstage.

Moments later, Todd and Mr.Flawless walk down. Flawless seems lost in his own world, staring toward the stars. They get into Mr. Scott Hall's corner and stand with Terry Taylor.

Sarah D then comes down and stands in Shawn's corner. The bell sounds.

Shawn dives at Hall and blocks him in the knees. Hall keeps his balance, but stumbles back. Shawn DROP TOE HOLDS HIM on the same leg and stands up with it.

Hall kicks with his free leg and pushes Shawn backwards, then gets to his feet. Michaels kicks Hall in the leg, then swings a kick up and ROUNDHOUSES Hall in the face! Shawn pushes Hall to the ropes and hits a SAVAT KICK!!

Hall goes down and Shawn dives on top for the cover... 1... Hall gets a shoulder up.

Shawn sits up and starts hammering Hall's leg. Scott pulls himself to the ropes and up to his feet. Shawn and Scott start battling each other with punches and chops. Scott ducks under a flurry and picks Shawn up... and SETS HIM ON THE TOP ROPE!

Bam Bam: We know what THIS is!

JR: Hall is very effective with this move!

Shawn struggles.. but Hall climbs up behind him... hooks his waist..BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX FROM THE TOP!!! Hall flips on top of Shawn and rolls him to his stomach. He hooks the legs and goes for the STF! Shawn sits out and rolls to safety away from Hall's power.

Hall pursues and is kicked in the knee hard! Hall goes down to his back and Shawn grabs his leg and starts to wrap on the FIGURE FOUR!!! Hall kicks him off.

Shawn pulls Hall up to his feet... ARMDRAG TAKEDOWN! Hall is flipped over to his knees where Shawn hooks his head... NECKBREAKER!! Michaels rolls back to his feet and waits on Hall to charge in....HIPLOCK TAKEOVER!!

The fans start rallying behind Michaels! Shawn starts pounding his foot on the mat.. and the fans stomp along! Hall gets up... turns... SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!! Hall goes down and Michaels is on top!

The ref counts.... 1... 2... TERRY PUTS HALL'S FOOT ON THE ROPES!! The ref stops the count!

Shawn looks out at Taylor, but keeps with the match. He pulls up Hall's leg into a step-over toe hold... THEN FALLS BACK WITH IT!!

JR: OW! THAT HAS TO HURT!!

Bam Bam: I've never been IN something like that, but I can tell it DOES!

Shawn climbs up to the top rope.... FLYING ELBOW DROP! Right across the injured leg!!! Razor limps up to his feet and hops to the ropes, holding his knee. Shawn sets for Sweet Chin Music again... but Hall stays holding the ropes. The ref motions to continue the match.

Hall waits for Shawn to look away... then charges in and SLAPS Shawn across the face.. then he pulls him up... FALLAWAY SLAM!!! Shawn is flipped over Hall's head and he rolls a few feet. Hall gets up, brushing his hands.

He moves in at Shawn, and gives the sign for the Hall's Edge!

JR: If he hits it... IT'S OVER!

Bam Bam: (joking) Unless SARAH puts Shawn's foot on the ropes!

Just then... SHAWN KIPS UP!!! THE FANS GO NUTS!! Hall looks suprised! Shawn leaps up and DROPKICKS Hall back to the ropes! He bounces back... into a ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! He stumbles back a bit... and Shawn FLOORS him with SWEET CHIN MUSIC IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!

Shawn hooks the legs... 1... 2... 3...!!!!!!

THE FANS GO NUTS!! Shawn stands up over Hall, and reaches down and pulls him up by the hair, and hoists him in a fireman's carry, then walks to the ropes, and DROPS HIM OUTSIDE with an oily THUMP!! Shawn takes a moment to wave and apologize to the fans in the first few rows who didn't manage to get their plastic tarps up in time to block the spray from Hall's hair. He poses in the ring as his music plays and the fans cheer!!

JR: SHAWN MICHAELS MOVES ON!!!

Bam Bam: He'll face JoBo in the Quarter-Final round... but I want to say this right now... JOBO... ZOBO... don't you worry! You WILL get your chance at Scott Hall in the VERY near future!

JR: You can BET he'll be READY FOR IT!
