----------------------------------------------------- PART NINE

Jim Ross: Ladies and Bret "Hitman" Hart!

The Hart Foundation musics comes on, and the Hitman walks out toward JR. He is wearing his wrestling singlet, sunglasses, and calgary Hitmen leather jacket.

JR: Bret, tonight you have a match against the Road Warriors for the Tag Titles, tomorrow night you face Sting in a King of the Ring qualifying match, and you have been wrestling a grueling tag and singles schedual before now, are you trying to do too much?

Bret: Jim, so far I have been able to handle the schedual, and take care of my other obligations, being leader of the Mega Powers, and spending some time with my family.

JR: Well all well and good Bret, but do you not think that this schedual will eventually wear even you down?

Bret: I don't think so JR. The more I compete the better I get, and the better the Excelence of Execution gets the more the rest of the WWF had better look out.

JR: Alright lets talk about some of your matches. Just last week you wrestled Jeff Jarret in a non-title match, this match had become sort of a grudge between the two of you, but at the end both of you showed your respect for the other by shaking hands. . .

Bret: That match was one of the best technical matches I have ever been in. Jarret is a great wrestler, and he deserves the Intercontential Title. I may not always agree with things he says or his methods, but he is a great wrestler. The last man who challenged me technically like that was Ric Flair.

JR: Okay, Bret that said tonight you and the anvil face the Road Warriors, this looks to be a classic confrontation. Your matches have thrilled the fans in the past and I am sure this will be a tough fought battle. Now rumors always fly when you and the LOD face each other about how can your friendship, and your both being in the Mega Powers stand the strain? Especially now that Randy Savage has turned the reigns of the Mega Powers over to you?

Bret: Well we are on the friendship issue JR, and I have a bit to say about that. First off, the LOD and the Hart Foundation, have been able to wrestle against each other in the past and our matches were hard matches, but in the end we always shook hands. The LOD are a great team, and either one of us could win, but in the end we will still be stablemates. And the fact that I am the new leader of the Mega Powers has no bearing on this match, nor should it. And Austin, it may be true that I have more enemies than friends, but I have a lot of friends. And not all of them are Mega Power's members. My friends have stuck behind me when I have made errors in judgement before, and I am glad I have them. YOU Steve, have one friend, and his sanity is in serious question. Even your old stable mates don't trust you. Oh, that's right you are Steve Austin, the man who does not need anyone, the man who will kick my @$$. Well Steve, last time we wrestled you won, but ONLY because you had the ref in your back pocket, and I bet that must east you up sometimes to know that I am the better wrestler than you, and you could never beat me with out help from someone. That's fine Steve you attack me in McDonalds, or at the Supermarket. And you will learn that the Hitman can kick @$$ with the best of them.

JR: Okay Bret one more thing tomorrow night you again get in the ring with Sting, now people have predicted that you will make it to the finals of the King of the Ring, but first you have to face someone who has always been a thorn in your side, Sting.

Bret: Sting and I have a long history, with many matches that have gone both ways, our last singles match was a finishing maneuver match, like this one will be, and I won that one. Now Sting is another great wrestler and there is no way I am looking past him, the only way I will beat STing is if I am on the top of my game and focused on him, if I am looking ahead to the Warrior or his oponent, or Sid the Giant or Diesel, I will lose. And the Hitman is not in it to lose. At the King of the Ring I plan once again to show why I am the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be.

JR: Thank you very much for your time Bret and good luck tonight!

Bret heads back stage as the Hart Foundation's music again starts to play, he high fives some of the fans on his way out..
