Animal flexes his arms to the fans... and they cheer, as Neidhart staggers around ringside, trying to get his senses back. He looks across the ring to see Demolition still standing there... STILL without moving!
Neidhart rolls into the ring as the ref's count hits..... 5..... 6..... Animal charges him... FRONT ELBOW BLOCK!!! Neidhart is nearly knocked out of his BOOTS! Animal covers him... the ref counts... 1.... kickout!
Animal grabs the head of the Anvil... and SLAMS it back into the mat! The Anvil's head pops up... and he holds it up.... looking right back at Animal... AND LAUGHS!!!
JR: NO EFFECT!!! EXCEPT TO MAKE HIM MAD!!!!
Neidhart PUNCHES Animal in the face!!! Then he pops up, with his second wind.... hooks Animal... DROP DDT!!! He hoists up the champion.... and POWERSLAMS him into Brets' corner! The Anvil tags in the Hitman......holds Animal down in a CAMEL CLUTCH....
Bret climbs the ropes... and DROPS AN ELBOWDROP on to Animal!
JR: What a move! The Harts do it better then ANYONE... except for MAYBE Demolition!
Sarah: And the Road Warriors?
JR: Well... you have a point there! (smiles)
The Hitman yanks up Animal as Neidhart leaves... SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Bret flips over on top of Animal... hooks the legs... and comes up with .... THE SHARPSHOOTER!!! The fans rise up, sensing the end!!! Bret is looking right out of the ring.... at STING!!! Sting watches.... Demolition watches.....
The referee gets down behind Bret, asking Animal if he'll submit.... and he shakes his head...
NO! Road Warrior fans start chanting LOD! LOD! LOD! The arena is deafening! Bret leans back... and the Animal still says NO!!! Demolition continue to watch... but get no closer... in fact they haven't even MOVED!!!
The referee asks again... and Animal.... SUBMITS!!! IT'S OVER!!!
JR: NEW UNIFIED WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! THEY DID IT!!! FOR A THIRD TIME, THE HARTS DID IT!!!
Bret releases the hold, and helps Animal up as the Hart's music starts to play. The Hart Foundation shakes the Road Warrior's hands.
A fog rises up at ringside... and Demolition... disappears into it.
JR: Demolition is gone... but Sting.....
Sting gets into the ring and walks up to Bret and gets into his face. Sting pulls a bat out of his coat and hands it to the Hitman. Sting opens both sides of his coat to show that he doesn't have a second bat.
Sting turns his back, extending his arms out to Bret. The Hitman looks at the bat.... and holds it down at his side. Moments later, Sting turns back around... and takes the bat from Bret. He stares at Bret for a minute more... then climbs out of the ring, exiting through the crowd.
JR: Another one of Sting's tests. Tomorow night on Raw... Sting... and the Hitman! One on ONE... FINISHING MANEUVER MATCH!!! Let's get the official word for this match....
Howard Finkel: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNERS OF THE MATCH... AND NEW UNIFIED WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.... THE HART FOUNDATION!!!!!!
Fireworks go off above the ring and Bret and Anvil are handed the Unified Tag Team Belts by referee John Pinnette. Bret kisses his and holds it up to the fans, climbing the ropes in the corner. The Anvil stares at his, wipes something from his eye, and starts to laugh holding up the belt.
Corey Major comes down the aisle and gets into the ring, and high-fives Bret and Anvil. Sarah D comes up from the announcer's table and shakes their hands. Then Wild Chylde comes down the aisle and shakes Bret's hand... and pats the Anvil on the back. She turns and leaves... and Corey follows her, taking something out of his back pocket to show her...
Bret and Anvil shake Hawk and Animal's hands again, as the Hart's music starts up once again beneath the pink fireworks! The fans give a LOUD ovation, cheering on the new champions!
JR: FOLKS... what a NIGHT it's BEEN! I'm glad I taped it at home... because so much happened, I'm afraid I've already forgotten some of the happenings! For Sarah D... The fireworks explode into the night, as the camera fades out....
