Queen Of The Ring
Jim Ross is at the table... he doesn't look well. His face is beat red with anger. Roxanne tries to calm him down.
Roxanne: It's alright, JR. Don't worry. We all know you were just doing your job.
JR: He makes it seem like I've never been involved in an altercation. I remember getting hurt pretty bad at the hands of Harlem Heat earlier in the year. I've had my fill... and I am NOT an athlete by any stretch.
Roxanne: It's not your job to come out and make the wrestlers happy or mad by what you say. You're job is to report things as you see it and that's that. But you DO have a little bit of a temper. Not unlike ME!
She smiles at JR, showing that she's being friendly. JR nods slowly.
JR: I publicly apologized for my out-burst. It was a difficult thing to go through TWICE in one year. What made me maddest was the fact that I wasn't even the one that BROKE that storyline. I was agreeing with ANOTHER on the future of the Horsemen.
Roxanne: Just let it die, JR. You do your job better then anybody else in this business. Just remember that!
JR: Thank you Roxanne. And I'd also like to take this time to thank Jesse Ventura for his kind words, as well as the private support I've received from some of the nicer folk around these parts. You know who you are.
Roxanne: I'm sure they do!
JR: Now I've said my piece about the Horsemen. Starr's addition to the group could change that possible future. I'd like to think that. But what I said... I said. I own it... and I'll 'fess up to it. Sting didn't want me to voice my opinion because he believes two things... first, that he didn't earn my respect... and second, because what I say and write affect the millions of fans across the world. Sting, I'd like to say this... that's a compliment if you think I'm that influential and important to your career. But I'm not a promoter, or a manager or a talent scout. I don't make or break anybody. I call it how I see it.
Roxanne: Good for you, JR. But try to take it easy. Getting all worked up CAN'T be good for your health!
JR and Roxanne smile to each other, and Ross nods his head.
JR: Alright... the Semi-Final round is about to start! Venus Victrix against Heart Attack!
Roxanne: Hey! Two team-mates! Wild Chylde sure can pick 'em! (smiles)
JR: When they last met, Venus DID get the upper hand and win. I think she can do it here tonight!
Roxanne: A quick match would do both of these girls good. Wild Chylde is pretty banged up from Gold-Dust, and if Susannah gets past her, it'll take a lot out of her. The winner of this match here will have a longer rest period.
JR: (looks at Roxanne with a smile) You're not bad at this!
Roxanne: (sheepishly) Thanks. Well, you know I DO train wrestlers! Some former and current champs have graduated!
JR: No wonder you and the Hitman are friends! Let's get up to the ring for Heart Attack against Venus Victrix!
QUEEN OF THE RING: SEMI-FINAL MATCH

The Match:
'Goddess of Suplexes' plays over the P/A. Venus Victrix comes out, dressed in her gear and carrying her bo stick. The fans give her an incredibly warm reception as she steps up into the ring, performing and preparing for her bout. Then Derrick Stardom's voice is heard....
Stardom: Lights OUT!
The lights in the arena go off for a short while... then they slowly rise up to full intensity... and Derrick Stardom is standing side by side with Heart Attack in the ring. Stardom and Heart Attack kiss, then Stardom rolls to the outside.
Heart Attack approaches Venus and they give a friendly hand-shake, offering kind words to each other. Roxanne applauds both wrestlers from the table, then smiles toward Stardom, who takes no notice of her.
