Backstage we find the Hitman, Bret Hart, standing behind him is the Anvil, Jim Neidhart. They are both is street clothes.
Bret: Hello everyone, as you can see here Jim and I are not wrestling tonight, but I wanted to talk about my match at the countdown. First off, the suprise ref, I am sure will be a fair an impartial referee, whose rules will be fair and make sense. And I know Jim here has no problem being tied to Pillman.
Anvil: heh that skinny little wimp, I will guarentee he does not stick his crutch in this match, if I have to sit on him through the whole match. HA!
Bret: And now Stone Cold. Austin, you have something I want, and since noone has claimed your "bounty" I challenge you to put up your WWF Heavy Weight Championship title shot, which you won at the Royal Rumble, in our match. Okay, now why the hell should you do this? What do you have to gain? Well that depends on what you want, and if you are really dedicated to the Empire. Here are some possible offers I would make, to counter your putting up the title shot. If we win the Tag Team titles on RAW, I will put up a title shot against your title shot. If you want to give it to the Harlem Heat, we will give it to them immediatly after the Countdown, but if you can arrange it, we would give it to you and Pillman at Wrestlemania. I know you two used to tag team in WCW back when you had hair, so we would offer it up to you. Now what if we lose on RAW? As unlikely as that is it is possible, if that happens all I can offer you is insurance for the Heat's title. We will let ourselves be dropped back into the general rankings, no more number 1 or 2 contenders, we would drop back and have to re-earn our rankings. I am sure a true Empire follower would love to give that insurance to their franchise players. Or if you can come up with a offer you feel would be better, then bring it up, and I will likely accept it. Unless you are afraid that you will lose, and then I can understand a coward like you taking the easy way out.
Anvil: HAHAHAHA!
Bret: Coward? Why do I call you that? You talk about the Anvil sneaking up behind people and threatening them. Well at least he does not attack from behind, and against someone he has no reason to attack. You "Stone Cold" seem to relish in attacking from behind, not only Corey but myself as well. Well fine if you are afraid of the Hitman, then I will simply have to kick your ass so bad that you will not ever show your face back here again.
Anvil: Hey I thought Mr. Perfect already did that, I mean Austin didn't even get a serious move off against Perfect. Maybe that is why he put that bounty up against Perfect, he knew he could not face Perfect again in the ring so he set this up. Another cowardly act, well Bret I don't expect Austin to respond to "offer" well at least not intelligently.
Bret: Alright that's all I had to say, other than wishing Corey good luck in his match.
Anvil: We're outta here.
They leave the interview area.
