FIRST ROUND: INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE TOURNAMENT
the 1-2-3 Kid
vs.
Flash Funk
w/Slick, Sarah D., Wild Chylde & Sid

The Match:
After a brief commercial break, the camera comes back to Madison Square Gardens. It shows Big Daddy Cool, Diesel with the Sensei and Jade up in the stands cheering on Flash Funk of the Network...

Flash and the Kid are in the ring... and the bell sounds...

Flash opens with a dropkick that stuns the Kid... then a cross-body block that takes him down! The Funk gets up onto the top rope... and dives off... DROP PUNCH!

The Kid rolls over and gets to his feet. Flash lifts up a big kick... but the Kid ducks underneath, and karate kicks Flash's other leg, dropping him down. Flash kips back up and drop kicks the Kid down to the mat...

And the KID kips up! Funk drop kicks him again... and this time the Kid goes down and DOESN'T get up! Flash goes to the top.... AND DOES A SOMERSAULT SPLASH... NOBODY HOME!!!

The KID leaves Flash on the mat and HE climbs to the top... FLYING ABDOMINAL SPLASH!!! The Kid hooks the leg... 1... kickout!

Both wrestlers get up to their feet. The Kid hits a karate chop to the side of Flash's head. Flash slams a kick into the Kid's ribs! Flash jumps up in the air and hits a kick to the back of the Kid's head... and the KID drops! Flash bounces off the ropes... running parallel to the Kid... EARTHQUAKE SPLASH!!!

The Kid is pulled up ... AND EATS A HARD FOREARM THAT TAKES HIM DOWN! Flash motions to the corner and the fans cheer! He goes up to the top... jumps off... ROTATING IN MID-AIR... and hits a BIG SPLASH! He hooks the leg...

1... 2... kickout! Funk pops up as the Kid doubles up on the mat. Flash holds up a finger to the crowd... ONE MORE TIME! They cheer! Slick does a little dance at ringside. Diesel is shown clapping....

Flash is on the top rope.... FLYING SPLASH!!! He hooks the leg again... 1... 2... KICKOUT! The Kid barely lifts a shoulder! Funk sits up and looks around. The Funkettes cheer for him....

Flash stands up... and climbs up again. Diesel's voice is heard yelling for Flash to finish him off! The Kid starts shaking his head, regaining his senses....Flash leaps...

SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!! Right on TARGET! Flash hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3... NO! TWO COUNT! The Kid kicks out again!

Flash sits up and looks at the referee, asking about the count. The referee is holding up two fingers. The Kid rolls aside...and climbs up. His eyes are glassy... he's sweating... but he climbs up to the top rope... his back is to the ring... Flash's back is TURNED to the Kid...

The Kid leaps for a MOONSAULT... Flash turns around... HERE COMES THE KID... MOONSAULT....Flash dives out of the way!!! THE KID CRASHES! Flash jumps on him, hooking the leg... 1... 2... 3...!!!!!

MADISON SQUARE GARDENS ERUPTS! 'SHAKE YOUR GROOVE THING' STARTS JAMMIN'!

Winner, by pinfall: Flash Funk

Slick: Turn out the LIGHTS, the party's OVER!

Flash and the Kid shake hands, then the Funk gets on a dance number with the Funkettes. Slick joins in as the Network looks on, enjoying.
