RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Mar 17, 1997

Bret ducks under a flailing punch from Vader and comes in behind the mastedon... CLOTHESLINE to the back of the head! Vader staggers... down to one knee... and flat on his stomach! The Hitman drops.. ELBOW to the small of the back. Bret gets back up... ANOTHER ELBOW to the small of the back!

Bret pulls the massive Vader up... and hooks him in a Side Russian Leg Sweep. Vader blocks! Bret tries again... Vader frees himself and hits A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!!

Vader pulls Bret forward... INTO A POWERBOMB!!! Bret rolls away from Vader on the mat, injured... and tags in the Anvil....

Vader and the Anvil throw punches at each other, but all are blocked! The Anvil finally gets in a clothesline.... followed by a FULL NELSON SUPLEX? He pumps....Vader holds on... Neidhart strains... AND HITS IT!

Now it's Vader who rolls toward his corner and tags in Jarrett. Double J runs at the Anvil.. and kicks him in the leg. A drop toe hold takes the Anvil down.... and Jarrett continues to work on the leg with a spinning toe hold.

The Anvil spins over onto his back... and Double J flips over hitting a hamstring pull. The Anvil sits up, clutching at his leg. Double J comes in behind him... AND ROLLS HIM BACK! The Anvil's shoulders are down...1 ... 2... kickout!

Double J gets over the Anvil... and begins to measure him for the BlackJack. The Anvil reaches out and punches Jarrett in the stomach... then dives into him with a shoulderblock down around the knees! Jarrett drops down to his knees... and the Anvil gets over him...DOUBLE AXEHANDLE!

The Anvil covers Jarrett... 1... 2... kickout! Neidhart stands up and looks to Bret... and tags him in.

The Anvil stays in the ring... and lifts up Jarrett in a Bearhug, holding him high up. Bret leans against the ropes... runs toward the back of Neidhart... LEAPS UP IN THE AIR... and CLOTHESLINES JARRETT! THE HART ATTACK! Neidhart slams him down into the mat and rolls aside! Bret covers... 1... 2... 3...!!!

Bret stands up and he and Anvil slap hands. Jarrett sits up... and like lightning... Sting is in the ring! Sting NAILS Jarrett over the head with the ball bat... and is out of the ring before anyone can react! Sting disappears into the shadows!

Winners, by pinfall: the Hart Foundation

The Harts celebrate up the aisle... and their music trails off. Vader and Cornette help up Jarrett... but he looks dejected. He motions for them to leave ahead of him... and they do. Jarrett walks around the outside a few times, looking upset. He removes the straps from his outfit from his shoulders. He then rests his hands on the retaining barrier by the fans. He just leans there, thinking. He then takes a deep breath and heads to the dressing rooms, slapping a few hands.

He is then stopped by a man.

Man: Mr.Jarrett... there's a call for you.

Jeff: Thanks.

Jarrett takes a cell phone and takes the call... but no words of the conversation can be heard.
