RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Mar. 17, 1997

FIRST ROUND: INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE TOURNAMENT
Mr.Perfect
w/Wild Chylde DiBiase
vs.
Razor Ramon

The Match:
Mr. Perfect is introduced first! He comes through the curtains, limping on his taped up leg. He holds his hands up in the air and tosses a towel behind him.... and it lands on Wild Chylde's shoulder. Perfect limps up to the ring and gets in.

Pillman: Aw... poor baby! Did the Giant BLOW OUT YOUR KNEE!? AHAHHAHAHAHA!

The Bad Guy, Razor Ramon is introduced next! He gets a nice ovation as he heads down and gets into the ring... to start the bout!

Razor doesn't waste time! He clotheslines Perfect to the mat, then starts kicking hi in the stomach and face. Razor pulls up Perfect and slaps him across the face... then BODYSLAMS him! Razor puts another boot in Perfect's stomach... then pulls him into a POWERBOMB!!!

The Bad Guy throws Perfect to the near side... catches him... SPINEBUSTER SLAM!! Razor yanks Perfect up... POWERSLAM!! Razor stands over Perfect and pulls up his injured leg.....he steps in... spins around.... PERFECT kicks him OFF! Mr.Perfect slowly gets up to his feet, favoring his leg....

Razor runs back... CLOTHESLINE turns him inside out... so much that Perfect flips over and lands onto his feet, falling back into the ropes to hold him up. Razor grabs him around the throat... ONE HANDED CHOKE SLAM!!!

The Bad Guy gets up.... AND SIGNALS FOR THE RAZOR'S EDGE! Perfect turns over on his side... and drops Razor down with a drop toe hold! Mr. Perfect gets up... and already Razor is rising up...

Perfect pulls Razor into a painful abdominal stretch.... but Ramon starts to power out. Perfect switches to a standing side headlock, and slows the pace down, catching his wind. Perfect gets his air back... an he switches to an armbar... into an armdrag takedown! Perfect HOLDS the arm.... and follows Razor down and maintains an armwringer on the mat!!! Razor attempts to sit out... so Perfect adjusts with a chicken wing!

Ramon manages his way up to a vertical base, where he backs out of the chickenwing and attempts to reverse it. Perfect counters and comes up behind Razor... and boots him in the back of the knee. Razor doubles foward... and Perfect tries a Bulldog. Ramon shoots him off... and runs after him... BIG KNIFE EDGE!!!

Razor POWERBOMBS Perfect down to the mat... and starts to wrap up the Figure Four leglock on Perfec'ts injured 'wheel'. Perfect instinctively kicks... and pushes Razor off.

Perfect uses the ropes to get up... and comes out to the center of the ring to lock up with the Bad Guy. They struggle for a bit... and then Perfect ARMDRAGS Ramon to the mat! Perfect yanks Razor back up to his feet... and into a FULL NELSON!!

Ramon drops down out of it and rolls out of Perfect's way. Mr.Perfect pulls Razor up into an armlock... then hooks him in A SMALL PACKAGE!!! The referee drops down... Razor struggles....

Ramon pushes into Perfect's mid-section and rolls over on top... 1... 2... 3...!!!!!!

Winner, by pinfall: Razor Ramon

The Bad Guy gets up and his fireworks spray behind him. Wild Chylde applauds for Mr.Perfect, who is barely able to pull himself from the ring on his bad leg. DiBiase moves to help him... when from behind... WHAM! A STEEL CHAIR....

IT'S SABRINA SAVAGE!!!! WHAM! WHAM! Savage beats DiBiase down to the mat! Todd and Taylor rush past. Taylor has his WCW title belt... AND HE SLAMS IT INTO MR.PERFECT!!! Perfect drops!!! Todd pulls aside the protective mats on the outside.... exposing the concrete!

Taylor pulls up Perfect... PERFECT PLEX ONTO THE CONCRETE!!! Wild Chylde is unconcious! Sabrina comes up, laughing evily. Taylor grabs Perfect's injured leg....AND WRAPS ON THE FIGURE FOUR!!! Perfect is UNCONCIOUS FROM THE PAIN!!!!

Taylor keeps it on!!! Officials come pouring down from the back... BUT THE DAMAGE IS DONE!!! Perfect is hurt... and hurt BAD! The officials pull Taylor off of him as Todd grabs a mic and gets into the ring...

Paramedics come down to help out Wild Chylde and Perfect. DiBiase is revived quickly... and she is able to walk out with little assistance, but Mr.Perfect's leg has been damaged VERY badly. They place him on a stretcher and wheel him out as Todd speaks in the ring...
