Publican: What do they have against THP!?
Pillman: Probably because the Mega Powers will help out the Undertaker!
Heart Attack: A DART?
Pillman: A dart! One of those ninja weapons. Like on those ninja movies on those crappy stations!
Heart Attack: I've never seen it like that before!
Pillman: With the Rebirth, you never know WHAT you'll see! You might see, like, armored people coming from the stands to give the devil's sign!
Publican: Where is she this week?
Pillman: You never know! She could be.... RIGHT BEHIND YOU!
(Heart Attack jumps and turns around frightened! No one is there.)
Publican: hahaha!
Heart Attack: That's not funny! Somebody could EASILY be behind you!
Pillman: Don't worry. Tonight... there's back-up all around! Speaking of the Rebirth, though... that's our next segment here. Owen... the Bulldog.. the REBIRTH! Let's go to that now. Let's take a look!
THE REBIRTH
(In a back alley, the Phoenix, Rubican, Owen, Bulldog and Clarence Mason are waiting by a manhole cover for the rest of the Rebirth. Seeress is in a small golden cage which two red and orange ninjas are guarding. Phoenix pulls out a golden pocket watch and checks the time.)
Phoenix: They should be here in a few minutes.
Clarence: Mr. Phoenix from what I understand our benefits include protection from outside interferrence, service from your employees and financial income boosts, am I correct?
Phoenix: Quite, Mr. Mason.
Owen: And we get to hurt my stinking, half pint brother, Bret, right?
Phoenix: The Hart Foundation IS part of the Mega Powers who alligned themselves with The Undertaker...be patient.
Bulldog: (with heavy English accent) All I'm worried about right now is getting those titles!
Phoenix: Again, be patient. We shall back you up by any means you need.
Seeress: How could you scum to these monsters?
Rubican: BE SILENT!
(Rubican punches Seeress in the ribs through the cage.)
Clarence: I don't see why we have to keep a hostage...they COULD file law suits!
Phoenix: Which I'm sure you will counteract in court if the need arose.
(Clarence grins)
Clarence: Indeed, as your buisness partner, I would take this case as a means of self defence after Ms. Strahden attacked our team vicously with her goons.
(The manhole cover opens and The Dream and Mankind with Vertigo slowly come to the surface. Phoenix checks the time.)
Phoenix: On time...very good.
(The Dream and Vertigo look over the cage.)
Vertigo: The bait for Tyr?
Phoenix: The "Tone of Slavery" shall make her our servant once she comes for her.
(Mankind looks at the Bulldog and Owen very concerned.)
Mankind: What is THIS? Before my eyes, I do not see unbridled evil...! Throw them BACK!
Dream: Madness you speak, beloved. While these three do not LOOK like us. The potential is there. A change of wardrobe... perhaps a little make-up... and the pits of hell themselves will ask for them to rule. Vertigo... you shall be assigned the task of a 'MAKEOVER' for our new allies.
Vertigo: (whispers) I will do so... and enjoy it!
Clarence: I assure you, Ms. Dream, that we are most certainly are going to do our best to help you if you help us.
Dream: And from your world to ours... what do you need of us?
Phoenix: Back up...no more, no less. Am I correct?
Mason: Yes.
Rubican: With this little one as bait, we shall get our most valuable servant to date.
Dream: And then... Valetia Von Strahden. Yes?
Phoenix: We shall deal with her meddeling at the sewer match...I have a plan to make her join you...join us once more.
Vertigo: Tell us what your plan is...
(Phoenix stops a moment and looks around.)
Rubican: What is wrong?
Phoenix: There is a stranger amongst us...I can sence it.
(Phoenix points in the camera's direction.)
Phoenix: THERE! We have been seen!
(The cameraman freaks as Phoenix stalks in his direction.)
Phoenix: Fool...I shall tell you when I wish to share my plans with the world! Now...you shall suffer the consequences!
Mankind: GET HIM!
Dream: Make him SCREAM!
Seeress: Excellency! If you can hear me...I shall be alright! DEFEAT THE PHOENIX!
Phoenix: ENOUGH! You are mine...
(Phoenix's eyes seem to glow with anger at the cameraman as red smoke rises. Phoenix points again at the camera but...FLAMES SHOOT OUT FROM UNDER HIM! All you can see is fire as the camera goes static and blacks out.)
