RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Mar. 24, 1997

vs.
Double J, Jeff Jarrett

The Match:
'Nar Mattaru' by Morbid Angel starts to play. The arena lights dim and the arena fills with green mist. The Super Machine comes out, wearing a black mask and matching ninja gui and bottoms. He has no shoes. Two sumo wrestlers and four ninjas escort him. The Machine has his arms upraised to the fans... but his hands are digitally distorted. The fans boo down at the Machine, who gets up into the ring.

Double J's country music starts to play! He comes out in his white outfit with red blinking letters on it. Music notes flash on and off in the ring. Jarrett is wearing one of the new Double J gloves and he's slapping fans hands who have the gloves in the audience. He gets into the ring and motions everyone aside so that he may strut down the center!

King: Well, I can't stay unbiased here! Go ahead, Double J! School this guy!

The bell sounds. Jarrett leaps up and nails the Machine with a drop kick to the face... but it seems to have no effect! The Machine brings up a quick snap kick to Jarrett's face and it sends him head over heels to the mat! Jarrett looks hurt!

King: WHAT!? How'd he do THAT?

The Machine pulls up Jarrett... and HEADBUTTS him! Jarrett flips back,halfway across the ring, holding his head in pain!

King: Something ain't right! That shouldn't have HURT that bad!

Pillman: The Machine IS tough!

The Super Machine picks Jarrett up and sets him up on the top rope and climbs up with him. The Machine faces the ring and holds Jarrett with his back to the ring. The Machine leaps up and KICKS Jarrett in the face and both fall into the ring... but the Machine adjusts and lands on top with an elbowdrop!

The Machine hooks the tights and goes for the pin!

King: HEY! REF! He's got the TIGHTS!

The ref counts... 1... 2... kickout! Jarrett gets up and to his feet. His forehead near his eye is bleeding. He backs up into the corner. The Machine runs to the opposite corner and comes flipping back... HANDSPRING ELBOWSMASH!!!

The Machine backs out of the corner. Jarrett stumbles forward... and blindly... HITS THE BLACKJACK!!!!! The fans pop! The Machine lands hard, laying next to Jarrett, who begins to stir. The Machine rolls out of the ring and falls to the outside. The referee checks the lacerations on Jarrett's eye.

Jarrett: I'm alright. That was TOO hard of a headbutt and kick!

Meanwhile, outside the ring... the Super Machine rolls UNDER the ring... and ANOTHER Super Machine rolls OUT! The New Super Machine gets up into the ring and runs at Jarrett. Double J, sidesteps.... and catches him in a hammerlock.

The Machine flips up and over Double J... and comes down with... A DROP DDT!!!! The Machine picks up Jarrett.... AND GIVES HIM A PERFECT PLEX!!!! The ref drops down... 1... kickout!

King: I can't BELIEVE this! It's TWO on ONE! C'mon Double J! Brian, I don't know how much longer I can sit here and let this happen!

Heart Attack: Oh yeah! Like YOU'D be able to do something!

Double J sits up and complains to the referee... and meanwhile... the Machines... are SWITCHING AGAIN!!!

Publican: I'm losing track as to who's who!

Pillman: I think this is the original one now!

Jarrett angrily storms at the Machine, not even aware that there's been a switch at all! He kicks at the Machine... then spins him over in a neckbreaker! The King is seen cheering! The Machine pulls himself up... but is taken down by a Double J dropkick! Jarrett angrily grabs one of the Machine's legs... and goes for the Figure Four....

The Machine sweeps him off his feet! Jarrett falls down... but instantly grabs one of the Machine's arms... ARMLOCK! The Machine sits out and reaches back over his head at Jarrett. Double J drops down and grabs a leg, spinning the Machine down onto his chest!

King: Hahah! Nobody can wrestle like Double J!

Double J rises up to his feet, while holding the Machine's leg. Jarrett FLIPS over him.... HAMSTRING PULL!! The Machine pulls in his leg close, holding it. Jarrett grabs it again.... HAMSTRING PULL!!! Jarrett then swings his hand in the air and looks around...

King: This is IT!

Jarrett: Here we go!

Jarrett grabs the Machine's legs..... FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!!! The referee gets down and checks on the Machine.... HE SUBMITS!!!!!! The King jumps around down at the table, excitedly!!! Double J let's it go and stands up. He looks around at the fans... and many of them are cheering for him.

Winner, by submission: Double J, Jeff Jarrett

Jarrett points out at a few of the fans with Jarrett gloves..... but those fans... are pointing... UP!?

King: AHHH! Look OUT!

Sting repels down out of the rafters with a ball bat!!! He drops down behind Jarrett... and SWINGS his bat! But Jarrett sees it and ducks underneath... BLACKJACK!!! Sting is laid out!!!

Jarrett flips out of the ring, laughing up at Sting. He slaps a few 'gloved' hands as he heads out.

Jim Ross is backstage near the monitors.

JR: How about THAT?! TWO Super Machines! And folks, he was packing quite a wallop with those kicks and that headbutt. We'll have to keep an eye on him.

JR: The feud between Sting and Jarrett is turning lethal! Sting was ready to take Jarrett's HEAD off!

The monitors show the ring. Sting pulls himself up off the mat and repels back up into the rafters.

JR: This Free For All Match at WrestleMania is my 'sleeper' match of the evening. Folks,that means that THIS will be the match that will suprise us most! It should be phenomenonal! Both are high fliers with great technical ability and endurance! Both men have a hatred for each other that just keeps multiplying by the minute! Folks... the Free For All Match... Double J vs. Sting!
