JADE PRE-MATCH COMMENTS

The camera shows Jade pacing nervously, talking quietly to herself with her eyes closed.. she seems to be almost praying. After a moment, she looks up to the camera.

Jade: Well, my first match in the WWF, and I'm just as nervous as I thought I would be. It's different from being down there to cheer on a friend. And tonight I face Venus Victrix, another newcomer to the WWF, but one who has already had a very impressive win.

Jade: But that's okay, I'm not here to be coddled and handed everything on a silver platter. If I wanted that I wouldn't be wrestling. So win or lose, I'm here to work as long and as hard as I have to to make my mark. Venus, good luck, and may the better woman win!

The Match:
The gentle sounds of "Soft Oriental Chimes" comes gently through the arena speakers, and from the top of the runway, Jade steps out, wearing a black silk robe with green embroidery that reaches to her knees and is tied with a green silk sash around the waist. Her long black hair is tied back to show a face with mostly Asian features, but somehow different and more exotic. She stands there for a second, looking slightly bewildered around the arena at the crowds cheering her in her first match, and then smiles and waves to them all.

Behind her, Sensei and Shawn Michaels step out as well, Sensei carrying his traditional staff. Jade looks to Sensei for a moment, and at his nod, she starts down towards the ring, slapping the few hands that are held out to her, and looking more confident as she approaches the ring. She reaches ringside just before the others, and jumps straight up onto the apron, and then up over the ropes and into the ring, where she removes her robe to show she is wearing a jade green spandex tank top, and jade green spandex shorts that go to about mid-thigh, and on her feet are green tabi. The Sensei gathers her robe and he and Shawn take up positions on two different corners, Shawn near the announcers table and Sensei near the aisle.

Next, Venus is introduced! The fans give her a nice ovation! She enters and takes up the microphone. The fans die down to listen....

Venus: "Jade, I don't know much about you hun but I know alot about Diesel and I know I can trust him and since the two of you are together, I can trust you I feel. AND, since you and Atlantra have been having your problems, I think the two of us can really work together on some things. I wish you wisdom during our match."

The fans applaud and the two get ready to start. The bell sounds. Venus holds up her arms asking for a test of strength. Jade looks hesitant... perhaps a little worried about locking up with Venus, who has almost a FOOT height advantage! Jade doesn't accept the test of strength... instead using her speed to get behind Venus and bring up a chicken wing!!!

Venus leans forward... backs up out of the chickenwing... and hooks Jade's waist... SIDE SUPLEX!!!

JR: Nice counter! Venus IS the goddess of Suplexes!!!

Venus gets up and puts on a standing sideheadlock on Jade... then DROPS her down, face first to the mat! Venus grabs both of Jade's legs and turns her around on her back, setting up for a slingshot into the corner....
