WWF Superstars, Apr. 12, 1997WWF Superstars, Apr. 12, 1997... Jade... KICKS VENUS BACK INTO THE CORNER... AND KIPS UP!! She rushes in... KARATE KICK ON VENUS!! Jade spins around and brings up another kick... Venus ducks under it... hooks the waist... SIDEWALK SLAM!!!
Venus comes up with the legs again... SLINGSHOT INTO THE CORNER!!! Jade comes bouncing back... and Venus plants a kick into her upon the rebound! Jade backs away and Venus follows, backing her into the corner. Trapped, Jade swings her leg up at a blinding speed and nails Venus with a roundhouse kick that stuns her!!
Venus stumbles back into the center of the ring, shaking her head and trying to regain her senses. Jade rushes at her... leaps up in the air... and sails a Spin-Wheel kick OVER Venus and crashes to the mat. Venus regains her balance and pulls Jade up... into a FRONT LAYOUT SUPLEX!!!
Venus, looking confident and certain comes back up... measures... and drops an elbow down!! Venus then over-powers the smaller Jade and drives her back into the corner. She uses quick whips to knock her back and forth between the ropes in the corner. Venus attempts to disorient Jade... who strikes BACK! Jade dives INTO Venus and whacks her on top of the head with a forearm shot! Venus DROPS!
Just then, Atlantra comes through the curtains and down the aisle. Jade notices, but pays no mind. She concentrates on the match. Venus gets back up to her feet and boots Jade in the gut... hooks her... SLINGSHOT SUPLEX!!! Atlantra begins circling the ring, watching.
Venus sends Jade to the ropes... SIDEWALK SLAM!!! She covers! 1... kickout!
Jade slips out the back of the pin and pops to her feet, obviously the quicker of the two! Jade begins to slam kick after kick into Venus.... until she bounces off the ropes... and MISSES a legdrop!
JR: Jade is doing a good job at concentrating, despite Atlantra being out there. She's still in control!
Jade recovers from her error and follows up with a crescent kick on Venus!! It hits HARD! Venus drops down to one knee... and pulls up one of Jade's legs for a takedown! Jade uses some incredible balance to stay up on one leg!! Venus tries to take her down, holding the other leg in her hand. Jade leaps up... INSUGORI KICK!! Venus is knocked down!! Jade pops up... ELBOW DROP!!!
Venus has the wind knocked from her... but she struggles to her feet. Jade runs at her... and KNEELIFTS her in the back! Venus staggers forward, feeling the effects of the grueling match!
Jade, with her second wind, nimbly finds her way to the top rope... facing AWAY from the ring.
JR: This is her move... a REVERSE Cross Body Block... the Dragon's Claw!
Jade times it... and leaps back and into the ring.... VENUS DUCKS!!! Jade crashes hard at Venus' feet. Atlantra seems to love seeing that! Venus picks up Jade... TIGER SUPLEX!!!
JR: I hear THAT'S Venus' FINISHER!!! WHAT A MOVE ALSO!!
Venus hooks the leg and seems confident. The referee counts... 1... 2... KICKOUT!!!
Venus pulls up Jade.... and forces her into a lock-up. Jade is quickly spun around. Venus hooks her from behind... BRIDGE SUPLEX.... 1... 2... 3...!!!!! Atlantra laughs evily... then turns and leaves.

Venus looks out to the fans, who give her a great ovation!
JR: The fans seem to love her! She's got some great skills! She'll go a long way! Poor Jade in her big debut! Folks... she didn't get the win... but she looked good!
Jade lays there for a second, then gets up, bows, and congradulates Venus, and leaves the ring, looking somewhat dejected and tired, but still smiling. Sensei walks to her and they fall into a hug, as Shawn comes over and pats Jade on the back, offering words of encouragement. After a few moments, Jade stands back and looks around and with a mischevious look, blows a kiss to one of the younger boys standing ringside and the three walk out, Jade slapping any hands that are held out to her.
