RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr. 14, 1997

Smash moves over to Pinnette and seems to try to steer him around in the ring... but Owen Hart doesn't wait... he just rushes in and KICKS Smash in the face!!! Smash staggers a bit... and Owen... scoops him up... BODY SLAM!!!

Owen climbs up to the top... and SOARS into the air... ELBOWDROP!!! Meanwhile... AX is up to something! He is REMOVING the turnbuckle in his corner and is dumping it's contents out onto the floor. He then replaces the turnbuckle but without it's protective stuffing.

Owen Hart, with Smash down... climbs BACK to the top, facing the crowd... he leaps... MOONSAULT... ONTO SMASH'S UPRAISED LEGS!!! Smash rolls over onto Owen and starts pounding him in the face over and over again! Smash stands then plants a heavy black boot into Owen's stomach.

JR: What do you think of Demolition and Clarence's team?

Anvil: Both of these teams run off at the mouth a bit too much!

Smash continues to lay into Owen pulling him up and pummeling him with axehandles to the back of the head... then repeated punches to the face that knock him up to his feet!!! Smash pulls back into the ropes... charges in... CLOTHESLINE!!! Owen is knocked back to the far side of the ring... rebounding back... and catching Smash on the chin with a SPIN WHEEL KICK!!! Owen rolls and tags in the Bulldog!!!

Smash is down on the canvas and the Bulldog rushes in... LEG DROP!! Davey Boy pops up and runs to the ropes again... LEG DROP!!! The Bulldog jumps up... runs to the ropes... LEG DROP!!! This time the Bulldog pulls up Smash... front face locks him....VERTICAL SUPLEX!!! THE BULLDOG HOLDS HIM THERE, AND DROPS HIM!!!

Anvil: Oh, that had to hurt!

JR: You BET! Nobody does it like the Bulldog!

The Bulldog yanks up Smash... SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!! The fans begin to rally behind the Bulldog! Next, Smith picks him up and prepares to gut-wrench him. Smash pushes the Bulldog off... INTO THE UNPADDED TURNBUCKLE!!! The Bulldog bounces back, holding his chest in pain. Smash tags Ax, but doesn't leave!!

Both of Demolition whip the Bulldog to the ropes... DOUBLE BACKDROP!!! UP AND OVER!!!!

Anvil: What is up with these Demolition guys, I hear instead of a gym, these guys run one of those leather and chains types of bars!

JR: Uh oh! You better hope THEY didn't hear that!

The referee puts Smash out and returns to the action. Ax slams the Bulldog down, then motions for the referee to stop Owen from coming in. Pinnette turns to Owen, and Demolition ACTS! Ax whips the Bulldog into the unpadded corner, where Smash takes the tag rope and pulls it around Bulldog's throat!! Ax comes charging in and throws a punch to his gut!

Pinnette turns back around and Smash has already stopped the illegal choke. Ax grabs the Bulldog by the head... and DRIVES him FACE-FIRST to the turnbuckle!!! The Bulldog bounces back into the ring and into the clutches of Ax! Ax... SLAMS HIM INTO IT AGAIN!! The Bulldog is busted open!!! Ax pumps his head towards the buckle again... BULLDOG BLOCKS IT!!! The Bulldog grabs AX by the head... and slams HIM into the buckle!!! The fans cheer that!

Anvil: And what is up with their make up. Is that supposed to impress or scare anyone. I can guarantee this. I am impressed with their ability to handle horrible adversity! I mean that paint on their tongues must taste awful!

JR: Hahah! HEY! What's this?! It's James E. Cornette!

Jim Cornette comes down as the fans are booing him. He doesn't pay them any mind, but comes to the ringside area.

Smash makes the tag in as Ax reaches out desperately for it, the Bulldog perhaps figuring out their ploy. Smash and the Bulldog tie up as Cornette makes his way around the ring.

The two jockey for position.....
