RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr. 21, 1997

ROXANNE

Roxanne is in the Raw-buttal area with the Women's World belt slung over her shoulder. She is wearing the two piece midnight blue wrestling outfit, with her red hair let loose down her back. She is turning away from a TV monitor, clicking off from Corey's apartment.

Roxanne: Hey everyone! I guess you just heard the GOOD news. Yep, Corey Major is concentrating again... and that's good for him... and BAD for his opponents. The guy has potential. And I'm glad I was able to convince him that Sunny wasn't right for him.

Roxanne switches shoulders with her belt.

Roxanne: Now on a personal level, I have nothing against Sunny. But from a business stand-point, I have a LOT of problems with her. She's taken many careers down the toilet, to put it nicely. And Blizzard, YOURS may be the only one that DID profit from her. So Blizzard, good luck winning her back. I'm just glad Corey has wisened up and decided not to take her up on the offer.

Roxanne: And DDP... on Superstars, you better NOT underestimate him. He may just be a rookie. But he's got a GREAT teacher in Bret Hart. And the Sensei will be good for him too, I'm sure. Quite frankly... Harlem Heat... Enforcers, DDP, ... I don't BLAME you for jumping him from behind. This man could be the future of wrestling... and you MUST be scared to see it so soon!

Roxanne: Corey, good luck to you, buddy. And I want you to think about the OTHER person. She could DEFINITELY help your career. She's smart, attractive, AND a proven success. And THOSE are qualities you need right now.

Roxanne pulls the belt down and looks at it... then puts it back on her shoulder.

Roxanne: And SPEAKING of THAT. It's time to start thinking about my next title defense. I may have already fulfilled my obligation this month to defend the title... but I'm not going to wait every thirty days to do it. There are plenty of wrestlers out there that deserve a shot at it. And Wild Chylde DiBiase... YOU head that list. I know... I heard you on Superstars saying that you've gone after it more times then anyone... and that's true. That just PROVES that you're championship material. I want to give you the chance to make it A THIRD TIME holding this belt. The champion... is issuing a CHALLENGE!

Roxanne: Wild Chylde... let's do it again!

A commotion is heard just off camera. Roxanne turns and sees an out-of-breath Dok Hendriks running up to her. He's waving his hands frantically.

Roxanne: DOK?! What IS it?!

Dok: Roxanne! You gotta SEE this! C'mon!

Roxanne: WHAT!? Is it ANVIL?

Dok: Huh? NO! We've got something to show you! You'll want to see this....

Dok charges off, and Roxanne follows. They head into the backstage area, where all the sound and video equipment is set up. Technicians move around frantically and Dok and Roxanne weave in and out until they get to a monitor station. A tech is sitting in front, and seeing Dok arrive, he pushes a button.

Dok: This just came in live a few seconds ago. The producer gave us the okay to run it.

Roxanne: What IS it?!

Dok: WATCH!

The video monitor comes on and the screen switches....
