RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr. 28, 1997

The Match:
Brian Pillman comes down the aisle and takes a seat at the end of the table. Heart Attack is also sitting here and she looks at him angrily.

Pillman: Don't mind me. I'm just here to watch.

Heart Attack: Stay at the OTHER end of the table!

JR: Alright now.. let's stay civilized here.

The Hart Foundation music starts to play as the Hitman Bret Hart and the Anvil Jim Neidhart start down to ringside, side by side. Pink and white lights start to move across the audience, and fireworks start to go off above the ring. Both men jog to ringside high fiving the fans. The Anvil takes off his jacket, and sunglasses,and he rolls into the ring, and starts stroking his goatee, laughing. The Hitman slowly removes his jacket, and takes off his sunglasses, giving them to a young boy at ringside. The Hitman then enters the ring and holds his arms out to the fans as more fireworks go off above the ring.

Stevie: Hurry up and get these stupid hart logos off my face SUCKA!!!

JR: The fans out here in San Jose LOVE the Hart Foundation! Listen to this eruption!

'Welcome To the Jungle' begins to play, and fog billows up from UNDER the ring! The fog expands out... engulfing the ring. It's difficult to see inside it... but two large shapes join the Hart Foundation...AND A MELEE ENSUES!! Jim Cornette comes running down the aisle.

JR: IT'S DEMOLITION! THEY'RE IN THERE! HOW DO THEY DO THAT?????

Stevie: Did someone fart? Oh no! It IS Demolition! HAHAHA!

The fog slowly begins to disperse.... as the sounds of battle continue in the ring! The fog dissipates... and when it clears... JIM NEIDHART HAS ON TWO PAIRS OF BRASS KNUCKLES!!! He's bashing BOTH Ax AND Smash!!

JR: WHERE DID HE GET THOSE? He didn't come in with them did he?

Sarah: I don't think so!

The Anvil takes off the knuckles and hands them to the referee. Smash pulls himself across the mat to his corner. Bret gets out on the other side. The Anvil looks around... chuckles... then LAUGHS, stroking his goatee! The fans cheer!

The Anvil shoulderblocks into Ax, driving him back into the Hart's corner. He then swings him up and over... BODYSLAM! Cornette comes running around the side of the ring, complaining about a hair pull. The referee warns Cornette to get back to his corner.... and the ref... DOESN'T SEE the Anvil tag in the Hitman!

Bret comes in and whips Ax to the corner... and readies for a strike.... but Smash, seeing the ref still with Cornette... AXEHANDLES BRET FROM BEHIND!! Bret turns around and he and Smash start hooking it UP! Ax recovers and moves in... and the Anvil will have NONE OF IT! He grabs Ax by his tights... and PULLS HIM TOWARD HIM.... then PULLS HIM THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE OUTSIDE!!

JR: Cornette has got the referee tied up! The Anvil just got rid of the LEGAL man! This is breakin' down in a hurry!

The referree turns around and sees Bret and Smash bashing at each other... he sees the Anvil on the apron, and Ax outside the ring, shaking off his fall. Pinnette breaks up the Hitman and Smash. He puts Smash out.... then he puts out BRET! The Anvil yells at John Pinnette... claiming they DID tag! The Anvil comes in and Bret leaves.

JR: Cornette is causing a lot of trouble already! If I were he, I'd look out for the LOD, they're out there!

Sarah: I'd like to see Shadow take care of him!

Ax gets back into the ring... and the Anvil CLOTHESLINES him down! Neidhart then gets Pinnettes attention... and makes sure he sees the tag in to the Hitman. Pinnette blinks at him innocently.

The Hitman comes in as Smash is tagging in.... and they go at it again! Bret catches a double forearm bash to the ears... but comes back with a dropkick of his own! Bret tags in the Anvil... who goes to the other side of the ring. The Hitman bounces Smash off the ropes......

The Anvil dives in behind him, clipping down the legs, while the Hitman comes in the front and nails him with a forearm!!

Stevie: That's right! Get these losers!

The Hitman leaves, with the referee putting him out. The Anvil is standing in the middle of the ring, stroking his goatee and laughing. He turns and looks up the aisle... where Todd Pettingill is coming down, carrying a ball bat. He sneers at him... then picks up a wounded Smash... and headbutts him....and AGAIN!

The Anvil wraps his powerful arms around the 300 pounder.... and sets....
