RESULTS: Monday Night Raw Apr. 28, 1997

Both let out a yell as they feel each other's strength! They jockey for position... neither getting an advantage.

JR: This is much like WrestleMania... when Diesel and the Giant locked up.

Both let out another yell.... and Diesel starts to tilt Sid's wrists back.... Sid fights it... and it's back to even! And then... SID gains the advantage! Diesel's legs begin to buckle a bit..... the fans are stomping their feet. Sid pours it on... but DIESEL COMES BACK UP!!!

Diesel fans start rallying behind him.... and SID starts going down! He gets pushes down.... TO ONE KNEE....then he starts coming back up..... Diesel let's out a mighty yell.... AND BREAKS SID DOWN!! THE FANS CHEER!

Diesel backs up in a three point stance. Sid begins to stand... and is FOOTBALL TACKLED UP AND OVER, landing down on his chest. Big Daddy Cool gets over Sid... and drops a LEGDROP.... then an ELBOWDROP to the lowerback.... then a KNEEDROP to the lower back!! Diesel stands.... and DROPS A PUNCH to Sid's back!

Stevie: Whada ya know? Dat sucka Diesel actually got a move in!!! Well, I ain't surprised if he is gonna beat Sid, cause Sid is the man... the master and the ruler.... of the toilet!HAHAHA!

BDC pulls Sid up and whips him to the ropes, front-first... .and follows him in with a BIG BOOT TO THE BACK!! Sid stumbles back into the ropes, and comes spinning back... ROUNDHOUSE RIGHT into the face of the champion!

Sid grabs Diesel and whips him to the turnbuckle hard! Diesel bounces out... and into an ELBOW SMASH to the jaw! Sid starts unloading with punches.... and ends with an uppercut that fells Diesel! Sid stomps him down into the mat... then moves back, measuring the champ....

Diesel stands... Sid runs in.... and BDC ducks under a wicked clothesline! Sid turns around and is lifted...BODYSLAM!!! Sid pops back up.... ATOMIC DROP!!! Sid hobbles around, smarting.

JR: Diesel is handling Sid!

Just then, Arn Anderson and Chris Benoit come CHARGING down to the ring at full speed!

Stevie: Get him, get him! Kick his butt! That's right! HAHAHA!

JR: Are they here to help.... SID?!

The Enforcers hit ringside.... and THE ROAD WARRIORS stand in their way. Animal swings his nightstick... but Arn drops, falls back and scampers to safety. Benoit puts on the breaks and moves back. The Road Warriors move at them.... and the Enforcers retreat.

Big Daddy Cool comes to the edge of the ring and looks out at the Enforcers... and Sid comes up behind Diesel... and KICKS HIM LOW!!! The fans GASP! Diesel doubles over... and Sid kneelifts him in the face!

Stevie: That's right!Whoop his fat ass! I don't care who wins though, they both suck!

Diesel catches Sid... and regains the advantage with an ATOMIC DROP! BDC holds out his arm... and CLOTHESLINES Sid down. Sid POPS back up to his feet... and clotheslines DIESEL DOWN! The fans POP!

Diesel pops back up.... and Sid kneelifts him in the chest, then brings out some swift chops that start driving the champ back into the corner. Sid traps Diesel in the corner, and starts kneelifting him there....

Sid grabs Diesel... and sends him for a ride... HARD into the opposite buckle! BDC comes bouncing back at Sid....
