DOESN'T SUBMIT!!! The ref motions to the time-keeper that she did NOT give up!!! Venus continues the move. Pain tries one last time... to stand... and can't! She reaches for the ropes... and her arm drops down..... the ref holds it up... and it goes down.. almost to the mat!!! He signals that she's still in it!
JR: My LORD! How much MORE can this woman withstand!!!
Sarah: She's showing us that she IS a tough... VERY tough individual!
Heart Attack: At least she's not giving ME the Devil's sign NOW!
Venus just WON'T LET UP!!! She keeps the hold on... wrenching and wrenching!! The fans stomp their feet and chant! Maxx Payne continues his pounding. Cornette takes a wild swing at a fan with his raquet.. and goes back to watching. The ref checks.... and Mistress Pain....
SUBMITS!! She shakes her head YES! Venus lets the hold go... and stands up!!! The fans cheer! Jim Cornette turns and leaves, still with a serious look on his face.
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen... here is your winner, by submission... Venus Victrix!
Venus waves out to the fans and leaves the ring to a LOUD ovation!
JR: Impressive showing by BOTH wrestlers!
Sarah: Venus is TRULY the Goddess of Suplexes!
JR: I wonder how she would fare against the MORTAL Goddess like Lady Tyr!!! We may someday find out!
Heart Attack: Hey LOOK! Mean Gene! What's he doing here?
JR: He's back from obscurity... and that means... he's back from WCW! Let's go to him now!

Mean Gene is standing in the aisle.
Mean Gene: All right, ladies and gentlemen! First, let me say what an honor it is to be back with the WWF, the LEADER of Sports Entertainment all over the world! And it is also an honor for me to welcome my guest at this time. Along with the lovely Elizabeth, here is the reigning Intercontinental Champion . . . Double J Jeff Jarrett!
(Double J's country theme begins, and Double J comes out through the curtain with Elizabeth behind him. Jarrett struts down the aisle and slaps the gloved hands, as he makes his way over to Mean Gene. Elizabeth pushes something down the aisle behind Jarrett, that is covered in a tarp.)
Mean Gene: Double J, this weekend, May 4th, you go to Qualify: 97 and defend your Intercontinental Title against the man you took the belt from, your former partner Vader! What about it?
Double J: You know, Mean Gene, this match at Qualify: 97 will be the third time I've faced Vader one-on-one since the middle of last year. I fought him back on Superstars when he was the WWF Champion, and I lost that one. But I lost ONLY after I was hit upside the head with a chair, by people trying to keep me down. Then, just a few weeks back, I went in to face Vader again! He was the IC champ this time! And we all know what happened there! I took Vader down, and I took him OUT, and I took his title! And now, this weekend, I'm going up against Vader a third time. I've won one, he's won one. Everything is on the line! But Vader, you've jumped me from behind 1 too many times. I know what you're all about! You've got NOTHING that I'm not ready for! I know all your tricks, and they're not gonna help you this time! But me? Mean Gene, to quote somebody famous, "I've just begun to fight!", and that's exactly what you're in store for, Vader! Cause now you've got my FULL attention!
Mean Gene: Double J, I couldn't help but notice that Elizabeth . . . Elizabeth, you look lovely tonight, by the way.
Elizabeth: Thank you, Gene.
Mean Gene: I couldn't help but notice that you pushed something down to here with you. What's under the tarp, Double J?
Double J: Well, Mean Gene, seeing as how myself and Vader WERE friends at one time, I've got a little present for him! Liz, pull that sheet off of that, if you don't mind.
(Elizabeth pulls the tarp of the thing she pushed to ringside . . .
