 OWEN HART PRE-MATCH COMMENTS

The Rocket Owen Hart is backstage.

Owen Hart: 1-2-3 Kid, I respect you a lot, but Kid tonight, I'm walking out with the victory!

Owen heads for ringside.

JR: Alright Mr. Kaden! If I get THIS one right... it's all even! And we'll finish it some other time. But if YOU win... that's two hundred dollars coming your way. And YOU get to pick!

Vincer: Yes. Alright. (turns to Heart Attack) Who is wrestling in this match?

Heart Attack: The 1-2-3 Kid and Owen Hart.

Vincer: (without thinking... he shrugs) Owen Hart.

JR: That's IT? You're not going to think this THROUGH? This is going to be a closely fought match between two men that are nearly equals in ring ability! Owen is coming from the tag ranks into singles wrestling! The Kid has trained under the Dean intensely for MONTHS! He's PREPARED!

Vincer: Then it would seem YOU have the better chance of winning! Care to up your bet?

JR: I can't spare no more... but my REPUTATION rides on THIS one!

Vincer: Good luck to you then, sir.

The Match:
The camera comes up to the ring... just as Owen leaps over the top to the inside. Both wrestlers get nice ovations. The bell sounds.... and they lock up.

Owen starts with a punch to the face... then a lower punch to the stomach. The Kid fires back with some martial arts chops.

Fans start to rise up... and Bret Hart comes down the aisle. The LOD move toward him and motion for him to stay back... but he holds up his hand and stops at the end of the aisle back far enough away. He still seems agitated.

JR: Man o MAN... the Hitman has something he wants to get off his chest... I can just FEEL IT!

Owen leaps up in the air.... SPIN WHEEL KICK!!! He takes the Kid down! Owen pops up and drops a leg... but the Kid swiftly rolls aside! The Kid KIPS UP.... AND DROPS DOWN ON OWEN...

Who get his LEGS UP!!! Owen uses this time to go to the top rope... and fly off... BIT CLOTHESLINE!!!!! The Kid goes down! Owen extends his leg out over the Kid... LEG DROP!!!

JR: Mr. Kaden... Owen looks good out there!

The camera man moves up to the top of the aisle where there is some confusion! It's Jim Cornette! He's quarreling with the fans... and threatening them with his raquet. He turns and watches the match again... but the fans continue to annoy him.

In the ring... Owen has gone to the top again.... FLYING ELBOW DROP!!! Owen stands.... and KICKS the Kid in the stomach. He pulls him up and kicks him in the face, knocking him back into the corner.

The camera focuses on Cornette up the aisle just after he takes a fake swing at the fans. He looks at the camera...

Cornette: What do you think you're doing? I'm trying to SCOUT HERE!

The camera switches to show S.B. and Yokozuna, still scouting themselves.

Back in the ring... Owen lifts up the Kid onto the turnbuckle... and climbs up with him. He hooks him in a facelock.... then pulls him up into a SUPERPLEX!!! THEY CRASH INTO THE RING!!!

Owen flips over and pulls up the Kid, hooking his arms behind him.... DOUBLE UNDERHOOK POWERBOMB!!! The Kid is flattened in the center of the ring. Owen springboards off the ropes.... MOONSAULT!!!!

Hart pops up.... and holds his hands up to the fans! Suprisingly, many fans cheer for him! He reaches down... and grabs the Kid's legs.... SHARPSHOOTER!!!!

The ref dives around into position..... and the Kid....

SUBMITS!!!! Owen lets the hold go and his music opens up! He holds his hands up to the fans, and gets a slightly LOUDER ovation!

JR: I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! I.... I....

Vincer: Keep your money Mr. Ross. You are right. It is hardly fair that I didn't THINK before making my choice. You could say I was lucky. I'll give you one last chance. Choose a winner in this match Mr. Ross. We will forget all that has happened thus far. We will wager our money on this match.

JR: Alright, sir. I respect your sportsmanship. Now... this match... while the Giant, Terry Taylor and the Corporate Machine cover many different fighting styles and are as devious as they come... there is nothing in the world that can match the sheer driving force of Sid and Diesel... and the aerial assault of Flash Funk. Mr. Kaden, I'm choosing the NETWORK in this one. That leaves you with Taylor Tech.

Vincer: (shrugs again, while in the middle of entertaining Heart Attack and Sarah with his card tricks) Seems fair to me. I would suspect you have the advantage once again. I like it that way.

Bret heads down and slides into the ring as Cornette turns and leaves. Bret congratulates Owen.... and then the Hart Foundation's music starts to play. Bret leans over the ropes and takes the microphone from the ring announcer...
