KING OF THE RING REPORT

Trumpets sound as the screen fades in to show the King of the Ring logo. The date scrolls across the screen.... June 15th, 1997 in the Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island. The words disappear and rising up under the logo is the word... REPORT.

The image dissolves to show Dok Hendriks sitting in the Event Center.

Dok: Helllloooo FANS! I remember a time when I wasn't too good at this report stuff... but I'm getting a LITTLE more comfortable! I've been taking some lessons from SABLE! (smiles!)

Dok: ALRIGHT! Let's talk about ... the KING OF THE RING! This past weekend, we heard the words around the WWF... that the Hart Foundation WILL meet Demolition at the Pay-Per-View! If it turns out to be a title match... then a special stipulation will be in place for this one....EACH TEAM WILL RECEIVE DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF REFEREE WARNINGS before being disqualified! That's TWENTY warnings! This type of match COULD favor the challengers!

The Hart Foundation's picture comes up on the screen and zooms back so it rests next to an image of Demolition with Jim Cornette.

Dok: But if the title is NOT on the line for whatever reason, then this grudge match will be a NO DISQUALIFICATION BOUT!! We just had one last week on TNT with the LOD and the Blackjacks... and it was WILD!!! I'd LOVE to see another... ESPECIALLY with Demolition in it! They are MASTERS of illegal moves!

The screen begins to montage through with the various participants in the tournament.

Dok: Let's talk about the King of the Ring tournament itself! Online right now is my PICKS for the matches... but I'll try to be more objective here on TV! Let's run down the matches for you.....

Dok: Flash Funk will meet Stone Cold Steve Austin.....

Dok: Mr. Scott Hall clashes with rookie sensation JoBo!

Dok:... Stevie Ray battles Sting....

Dok: And the Giant meets Diesel!!!

The rapid montaging stops to show the Giant and Diesel.

Dok: In just a little while, these two monsters will be on opposite sides during the big SIX MAN TAG TEAM WAR... but it will be ONE ON ONE at the King of the Ring in June. Diesel is the former World Champion... and the Giant is the self-proclaimed UNCROWNED champion!

Dok: But there's some interesting scenarios that could be set up from this match... and the Sting/Stevie Ray match.

Sting and Stevie Ray's images appear up on the screen with Diesel and the Giant.

Dok: Let's assume the Giant and Stevie Ray advance! The Giant recently attacked the Heat WITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER!!! We don't know his motivations... but obviously there is some animosity there! Personally, I think it has something to do with the crumbling of the Empire. The dust hasn't settled YET!

Dok: OR... what if DIESEL advanced to face Stevie Ray! You can bet BDC will want some pay back for what the Harlem Heat did to his buddy Shawn Michaels!

Dok: OR... what if the Giant advanced... and STING advanced! We all remember what Sting did to Terry Taylor.. an adamant NO to joining Taylor Tech via a Death Drop! The Giant is SURE to want to get his hands on Sting!

Dok: OR... Sting and DIESEL in the semi-finals! Sting nearly had BDC beaten on Superstars last month... but some distractions cost him the match. Maybe the SECOND time will be the charm!

Dok's face comes back up on the screen.

Dok: There are PLENTY of scenarios that you could play around with for the King of the Ring! And THAT'S the beauty of it all! Take a look at the WWF website, and see if you can't come up with more on your own!

Dok: And regardless of WHAT you come up with... you can be SURE that ONE thing WILL happen! You will see one HECKUVA pay per view! THE KING OF THE RING!!! DON'T MISS IT!!

ENFORCERS PRE-MATCH COMMENTS

Arn Anderson is standing in front of the camera with a Horsemen t-shirt on. Chris Benoit is wearing a pair of red tights and a cut off Horsemen t-shirt.

Arn: Smokin' Gunns, this night, you will lose to the Horsemen. Not just for the reason that you are two pansies. But because you can't hang with the Enforcers or the Blackjacks. Just like all of the other tag teams will fall to the wrath of the Horsemen, you will. Lady Tyr, I don't know who the HELL that you think you are. If you're gonna talk about the Blackjacks, you had better be prepared to talk about the Enforcers, too! If you're gonna talk $H!T, you'd better be able to back it up. Because nobody, and I mean nobody talks about the Horsemen without getting their @$$ severely kicked around the whole F#$%in' stadium.

Chris: Undertaker, you'd better hopd that you don't come back. Cause if you do, I'll whip your @$$ personally. And as for you, Tyr, you think you're good, but when I lock the Crippler cross face on your @$$, I'll make you think twice B!$%#! Horsemen forever!
