JR: Now THERE is the Kid we remember!!!
Stevie gets up to his knees... and the Kid pulls him in for a PILEDRIVER!!! He tries to lift him up... but CAN'T!! Stevie grabs a leg and flips the Kid off his feet!
Jim Cornette comes down the aisle, again quarreling with the fans. The camera man zooms in close on him and an annoyed Cornette looks back at him.
Cornette: What do you think you're doing? I manage the CHAMP!
The camera moves back away from Cornette as the fans continue to harass him!
The Kid has found his feet again... and as Stevie moves in, The Kid ROUNDHOUSE kicks him in the gut! He spins around and hits ANOTHER!!! Then he spins back... and hits a KARATE KICK!!
JR: Those kicks... they're SO fast!
Stevie barrels forward... and tackles the Kid to the mat. The Kid forearms blasts him in the head and rolls back and comes up to his feet. Stevie gets up slower... and the Kid starts unloading a series of kicks again. Stevie reaches out...
And grabs the Kid's tights! He falls back and slings the Kid from the ring. Stevie stands up and the ref yells at him! He doesn't see the Kid... HOLD ON TO THE ROPES.... and PULL HIMSELF BACK IN!!! The Kid comes back in behind Stevie... who's totally oblivious!!!
The Kid body locks Ray from behind... and tries to hit a GERMAN SUPLEX!! TOO MUCH WEIGHT!!
JR: What is the Dean TEACHING the Kid?!
Ray just turns around and looks at the Kid... who throws a couple kicks up into Ray. Stevie kicks back... and HARDER!!! He kicks the Kid back into the turnbuckles...then rushes in and SMOTHERS him there with a clothesline! He pulls the Kid out with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!! He then pulls him up into a SIDE SUPLEX!!
JR: Stevie Ray may be a DARK HORSE to win the King of the Ring... but he just MAY do it!
The Kid suprises Stevie with his speed... and pops to his feet! A solid kick to Stevie's head fells him... and the Kid goes for a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!!! Stevie rakes his nails on the Kid and gets free. He then pulls the Kid by the head to the ropes... and BURNS HIS EYES across the strands.
Stevie then presses the Kid OVER his head... AND DROPS HIM TO THE OUTSIDE!!!! Stevie steps back, motioning for the ref to count....
1... 2.... 3.... 4.... 5.....
The Kid starts to move around, listening to the words of the nearby Dean.
6.... 7....
The Kid gets to his feet.
8... 9....
The Kid rolls back in and starts to get up to his feet. Stevie stomps down on his head. The Kid struggles to avoid further stomps and pulls himself up to his feet. His legs go wild again with rapid kicks to Stevie... kick after kick finds it's mark. Stevie is getting ROCKED!!! A hard kick to the chin spins Stevie around so his back is facing the Kid.
The Kid again hooks him... for a belly to back into a bridge. He strains.... but can't do it!!! He tries again... NO!!!
JR: The Kid needs to re-think his game plan! Stevie is too big to be doing that too!
Sarah: I don't know WHAT he's trying that for! His kicks are MORE effective!!!
The Kid tries it again... NO!!! Stevie breaks free... does a go-behind... and hooks the Kid around the waist... BELLY TO BACK.... INTO A BRIDGE!!! The ref dives down... 1... 2... 3...!!!!!
JR: HE GOT HIM!!!! With the move he was looking for!!!
Sarah: Leave the power to the power wrestlers!!!
JR: That could be the Kid's EPITAPH!!!
Red fireworks blast over-head as Stevie stands up and looks angrily out at the fans. He jumps from the ring and storms off, yanking down some signs from the fans and tossing them down.
The Dean helps out the Kid, who seems very disappointed. They leave together.
